Breathe, breathe...

For those of you who don't have lillyv friended, this just had me laughing too hard to breathe. Oh wow that is marvellously insane. I love people for taking the time to do these things.

Spent tonight hanging out with wolves8 and L-who-needs-to-get-an-LJ-so-I-can-stop-calling-her-L. I made them watch Serenity. Okay, lie, L wanted to see it and I made them watch Out of Gas first to get some idea of who characters like Inara were (episode-Serenity's too long for a quick intro and besides, Out of Gas is better) and then we watched Serenity. I love that movie. River gets more awesome every time, though it always makes me want to watch the awesome River vid pointed out to me by claireweasley -- who I miss :( -- again. Seriously good vid, which is terribly humbling to watch when you're attempting your own. Yes. Wow.

And isn't this just a post full of links. Think I'm all out now though. Haven't been playing around online enough recently to have found anything else cool. Alas.

Need to answer comments. Need to write fic. Really should think about bed sometime soon because I'm about to pass out my desk but eh. Need organisation which I lack greatly right now. Hhhmm. I should do stuff. Stuff is good. I guess.

And Marco Baghdatis, despite having a name I cannot spell, has redeemed himself after defeating Andy. Sort of. I'm just happy Ljubicic is gone, though I know whe I'm watching an Andy-less final on Sunday, all my bitterness will return.

edit: Also, does anyone know anything about 3 Doors Down? I randomly downloaded some of their songs and they're good but I'd never heard of them before. Just wondered if they were worth the effort of looking into more.

I say now that I should never let myself get this behind on comments again but I know that's a lie. I think I'm somewhere around halfway anyway, and I'm taking a break to watch Hamster. And to wait for Facing Federer to finish ripping so I have more clips to use for vids. I will get the hang of this vidding thing, I swear I will. Sky does tennis vids to music all the time, to fill little gaps and to end programs and such, so one day it may even come in as a useful life skill.

Flatmate just come in to ask for help with the buttons on a beautiful Chinese-style silk top. Actually from China and incredibly cheap when she bought it there. *sighs enviously* China isn't high on my list of places to go but wow, I'd definitely love to do a shopping trip one day, if I'm ever rich enough. You know, hop on a flight, get as many amazing clothes as possible, spend the night in a five star hotel and fly home again. ;-) Well it'd be one way to pointlessly spend a lot of money.

I wish ITV didn't use Hamster's show to promote other shows on the channel. I spend most of my life avoiding ITV -- unless they entice me over with the promise of Hamster which frankly was a flash of genius on their part, I'll give them that -- but it's getting thrown at me via Hamster. You sneaky bastards ITV. Though I kind of wish I hadn't spent the last few years determinedly ignoring Darius. He is so very pretty. *is a pretty-whore* And tall, crikey.

You know, Lancaster has a very big sky. I don't know whether it's just that I can see further from being on the top floor or whether there's something about the hills but the sky looks much bigger than it does in Wales. Weird.

I hate to admit this, because it feels like failing in some way as an Andy/Roger fan but...

WHERE THE HELL IS THE GIGGLE-MOMENT ON THE FACING FEDERER DVD?!! ARGH. Is it in the outtakes instead?

Also Movie Maker is being an ass about importing it. *stress* I should be writing poetry right now. Aaaaaaaaarggggh.

I just caught myself singing along to the song I'm vidding to. My flatmates must think I've gone insane. I also have fifteen minutes of my mid-week day off left and I've accomplished over a minute of vid... and absolutely no work at all. Um. Ooops. So I think I'd better stop and write a poem now. >_< Also got a ton of stories to read and crit before 11am tomorrow but I'm getting up early to do washing, so it'll keep me busy between running up and down to the laundrette.

I'm getting far too good at simply wasting time lately. Sigh. Middlemarch is still dismally unfinished. Hhhm. I was supposed to've read stuff for tomorrow too.

I can see a ban from Movie Maker looming up until I've finished work. >_< Dammit. I was having fun too.

So yes. That was my evening. Hopefully y'all did more useful stuff than me. :)
