This week I have learned that I shall never be a poet. I'd rather not be one frankly, it all seems like an awful lot of work but I can at least write crap for an entire term and then admit in my end-of-term essay that it's crap and I'm okay.

I'm less okay with the idiot downloading five episodes of Lost from me at once and making my computer run veeeeerrrryy slowly. They download faster if you do them one or two at a time idiot. You'd already be watching the first one now and you can download the others any time like any other normal person. Smegging hell. How did these people make it to university?

But I have some random crap to submit as poetry, I have a sparkly clean room, I have a day off tomorrow... and I don't feel like upsetting my karma so I'm going to let him download them all. Sigh. As tempting as it is to cut a couple of them off.

Submit crap and answer comments. I have such a backlog of comments. Oh dear. :-/

edit: Actually, no I won't submit because the network has chosen this precise moment to break. *blinks* And I blamed it on LUsernet making my 'net slow and cut the Lost guy off too. Now I feel mean.

edit: Oh fiddlesticks to this, the universe must be trying to tell me something. Off to bed.

Why is it that one day I'll overload you all with twenty billion entries and then the next there'll be barely anything? Inconsistent LJing, tut tut. There's probably a direct correlation with my boredom levels in there somewhere.

Hamster's car didn't get trashed, thankfully -- it's cute alright! See?! -- but I watched the Top Gear episode kindoftrouble sent me in which he gets hypnotised and god, I haven't laughed so hard in forever. :D Poor Hamster. They only abuse him because he's small.

There was also glee over the fact that I have tennis to watch for the first time in forever too. Andy matches! :D Hee! kindoftrouble is bad for my academic life but I was starting to go into tennis withdrawal and that's also bad. Andy matches! *glee*

And then I was going to read Middlemarch tonight but the devil wolves8 called and said the magic words "DVD" and "tonight" and "watch" in the right order, so yes. Who needs to read! Watch TV instead!

So I'm off to ignore Middlemarch some more. :) Back later.
