Went to bed early. Planned to get up before 10am and be useful. I was meant to have answered all my outstanding emails at least by now, been several episodes into GitS, hell, be dressed.

Guess when I woke up? About oh... twenty minutes ago? Dumb 'off' button being right next to 'snooze'.

At least I got more sleep than I've had in months. ;) Sigh.

I need a picture of me for my uni newspaper blog but I can't find one I like. Hhmm. Alternatively I can use any 240x240 non copy righted image - any suggestions? I'm an arts blogger which covers books, movies, plays and such, so anything goes really. :)

Times like this, I miss having a digital camera on hold. Or a flatmate with one even.

Speaking of flatmates, one of my Cypriot flatmates was meant to be coming back yesterday but she didn't. I'm not complaining, having the flat to myself is lovely but it's just a little odd. She probably just changed her flight though, given that term doesn't start for another week and she didn't know she wouldn't be on her own.

On episode four of GitS and I'm still boggling at the main character's outfit. If cops actually wore outfits like that, a lot more young men would probably get arrested. ;)

My supposedly productive day is going more and more downhill in terms of actually getting anything done. ;-)

That's quite interesting. Fascinating even. When the phone posts are private, they run fine... when public, they cut off after a few seconds. Only reason I know is that my first one posted private when I got cut off before the end of the call and when I swapped it with the one that 'apparently' didn't work, that decided it wasn't happy being public. It likes f-locked though. Is this some quirk of voice posting I've missed, because I'm sure it didn't do this last time. No wait; now neither of them work. Okay, I give up.

It was only a post to say my internet had broken but it seems to have fixed itself now. For how long is debatable, but at least it's working again.

Huh. I think I've done something to offend technology today.
