And yeah, I did squee "I WAS THERE" when there was an overview of Wimbledon. *coughs* Which oh bugger, reminds me I have to do the ballot thing for next year.

EDIT: Mmmm, how cool must it be to be able to write 'Wimbledon' as part of your address. *contemplates* I now need to become rich so I can buy a house in Wimbledon. Actually two houses. So I can rent one to tennis players and one for all the tennis slashers to stay in so we can go to Wimbledon every day. :D

Nicest news in the world to wake up to?

Russia profoundly thanking Britain for helping successfully rescue their trapped submarine. See, countries working together produces great things. *pets the helpfulness* Now if everyone could just work together like that, the world would be a much better place. :) It's also lovely to hear about your country being helpful. Doesn't seem to have happened very often in the last few years.

The Tennis Slash Awards 2005 banners and icons are all done and ready to post once liroa15 gives me the go-ahead. It's nice to actually *finish* something on my list of things to do. :) Off to see if I can't finish Halo for her, before she and shana0809 jet off to Montreal. Which I am still so jealous about. *sighs* Oh to live in a country that has tennis tournaments with *normal* methods of buying tickets.

Other than that, life is dull. 'Rents should be getting home soon, which means I need to go sort out the dirty dishes. >_< At least the house is clean.

Also? I love this song. *grins* S'insane.

A brief note on the awards; in some categories we had a tie, either for first place or the runner up. For these, we awarded all the fics that tied the 1st place/ runner up award, and then, in the cases where there was more than one first place, awarded the next in line the runner up place. This is why some categories have more than one winner or runner up. :)

If you want to know by what percentage or number of votes you won/lost - and there were some *very* close calls - ask liroa15 before asking me, since they are technically her awards. :) Or if she says it's okay, I'll be happy to tell people.

Okay, onto the banners... and this is the only awards we'll be having a different banner design for each category, because there's no way I could do this again. Next year it'll be one design for everything. :)
