New drinking game - watch the Andy vs Johansson semi-final and drink a shot everytime Andy falls over. You'll be drunk before the end of the second set, I swear. Hopefully he won't try that at the US Open or he'll be a walking bruise.

And once again, I'm going to bed before 2am. This is strange and suspicious and I don't like it. However my reasoning tonight is that I need to be awake to shriek at Roger vs Andy tomorrow. After that I think it's back to 4am.

Like greeniebach said, I hope scoobydumblonde got home okay. *worries* It's not the same without her here.

Well that was a little... anticlimatic.

Despite the fact I was wearing my Switzerland shirt in support of Rog, I called him every rude name under the sun (I wanted at least four sets dammit!) and then invented some new ones for Andy when he lost that break in the second set, even though the poor sweetheart played some awesome tennis. Roger was just too good, scarily so.

I have also come to the conclusion that I should never be a commentator, considering my remarks to Andy throughout this were mainly along the lines of: "THIS IS BRAIN." *points to head* "CAN BE USED AT WILL!" or "There's this thing Andy, called moving. It's where you MOVE your feet - wow, I know! Cool eh? And guess what? You can even do it faster, and it's called running. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY IT SOMETIME SOON?"

I love these players, I do. You just really couldn't tell during that match. *grins* I think I perplexed the parental when I was hissing "Double fault!" at Roger every time he went to serve.

(And um, can I just say that when I begged for a twenty minute rain break at the end of the second set, I was quite freaked out when, as if on cue, they had a twenty five minute rain break? Yeah. That was weird.)

They both deserve hugs though. Roger for crying and Andy for... well, not crying after all that.

Dude. I've officially been a tennis fan for an entire year. I never stick with anything that long. o.O

Because alas! Wimbledon has finished and we all must mourn and pine and dream of green and purple until next year. And since it's over... I thought we'd need some icons to replace the 'Wimbledon 2005' ones. Plus these last two weeks have been filled with stressful moments when I couldn't stand to watch Andy's matches and making icons was a productive way to stop myself twitching with nerves too much.

liroa15 I know you mentioned you wanted a Roger/Mirka one but I can't find the few Rog/Mirka pictures I have. -_- Do you have any you'd want iconised?
