I love the word 'bahleeted'. An English student loves what the internet is doing to her lanaguage. Crazy.

But it is a bloody cool word, so eh...

I'm fairly sure I'm meant to be dressed and coherent right now. *ponders some more* I'm also fairly sure my room is meant to be clean, tidy and semi-packed ready to go home. Nothing of the sort is true but I'm not quite awake enough to care right now. Hhmmm.

Updated PS a little in my beautiful, empty flat last night. (I played loud music till about 2am and didn't annoy anyone! *happy*) Want to add all scoobydumblonde's fic before I go home, because my 'net at home despises me updating PS and there's a *lot* of fic to add. We'll see. Hhmmm. I did find a load of fics I'd forgotten the existence of in the course of my updating, which made me happy since it helped me plan my nominations. ^___^ Will update everything and re-read it all. Because I have to be through... *coughs innocently* Not an excuse to re-read everything. Nope.

Really should go get dressed now. Somehow I can't quite convince myself oversleeping is a bad thing, not when I could have happily slept till 5pm. :)

Ouch.

The lesson we have learned today ladies and gentlemen, is that wearing chunky black flipflops will mutilate your feet. I swear to this... on the pain of my currently mutilated feet. *nods*

We did get sidetracked by yet another guy in town trying to get us to sign up to give money, this time to children on the streets though why they always go for students I *don't* know, because we're all really bloody broke right now! Usually I just brush them off because when I have money to give to charity, I'll go find a registered charity to give it to myself thanks, but he was kinda cute and had a pseudo!Australian accent so we let him talk for a while. And then gave him the brush off. Wish I'd asked him if he was actually Australian. *sighs* Oh well.

I've missed all of Wimbledon today. :( Tomorrow I shall glue myself to my TV for Andy's match and stay there... possibly frantically cleaning my room at the same time because I haven't even *started* that yet. *blinks* Oh boy, tomorrow will be fun.

Going to soak my feet now.

Last call for Australianisms.

Flatmate that's going to Australia for a year to study is leaving Friday and I'm still putting together a quick list of words and things she should know, via the Aussies on my f-list. Are there any words or expressions you can think of that I could put in? I don't know, like the Americans call a 'pavement' a 'sidewalk' - what do you call in Oz? Anything like that. :)
