I'm awake... sort of... and productive... sort of...

At least I've been awake since half ten which for me on a Saturday is pretty good. Not to mention I was in bed about oneish, which is the earliest I've gone to bed in *months*. I do feel better than last night, though I think I went to the other extreme and slept a little too long for me. ^__^ Nothing coffee won't cure.

*stares dubiously at student loan website* It's horribly complicated and I'm very glad I didn't attempt it last night, because I would definitely have got something wrong. It doesn't help that the deadline was yesterday but eh. *shrugs* I can live on savings for a few weeks if I don't get my loan at the start of term. I just get the feeling actually filling this is is going to take me hours. *sighs* Bastards.

Still, my internet is fast, doesn't break like my home 'net, my Lush handcream is fantastic and really, it's good to be back. :)

I've just spent hours doing this goddamn online application thing for my loan next year. Not to mention I'm already a day past the deadline and I just realised it doesn't do it automatically - they fucking send you a printout of it, which you then have to sign and send right back! So what the hell is the point of doing it online when it's more of a pain in the ass?!

I also had to "change" my course from 'English Literature with Creative Writing' to "English Literature, Creative Writing and Practice' because apparently there's a difference. And the form won't let me edit it to change it; I'm supposed to ring up and get them to change it! For a couple of damn words! Screw that.

And then, to top it all off, I finish, click submit... and get this: An error has occurred while processing your request. This has been automatically reported to the system administrator, who will investigate and address the problem. Please wait for 24 hours and then re-try your request.

Student Finance Direct? Is about to get something long and sharp inserted where the sun don't shine. I am not impressed.

Oh it is so bad I just saw a Doctor/Rose/Jack threesome on Doctor Who right? It was there, it was practically canon! *groans* Doctor Who slash is just wrong, on some basic level. Doesn't mean I'm not tempted though.

Mmm, just had a barbeque. Very nice. :) And we didn't set fire to anything! Much. Heh.

Off to work on fic for a certain person's birthday tomorrow. *grins* Trying to decide which one to work on though... *ponders* Think I know which one's most likely to get done.
