History has ended.

That was the cheerful postmodernist note I ran to my seminar this morning to hear. Postmodernism is crazy; it's just people wandering aimlessly in circles for an entire novel and making no sense, then when people complain turning around and going "Hah! It's postmodernism so I'm allowed to do that! Mwahahaha!" (Evil laughter my addition, not theirs. But you know that's what they're thinking.) S'insane.

I have been talked into going out tonight. Protested I have no money (I have 46p left in my bank account as of this morning which I find hysterically funny, because how the hell am I supposed to spend that 46p now?) and K begged and pleaded and said she'd lend me the money and to cut a long story short... going out to Crow[ley']s then to see a friend of K2's sing at the Lounge. And it will be fun, I'm just o_O because I've realised I have... less than four days to write my essay. And I've barely even started to research. Go me! I have absolutely nothing for the next two days though, so I've set myself the task of writng at least 1,500 by Wednesday night. *nods* Then I have Thursday to write the final 1,000... though if I could finish it by Wednesday, that would be good. *plots*

In spite of crazy deadlines and being talked into things by flatmates, Halcyon 4 is still on track to be posted in the early hours of tomorrow morning. I'm over halfway through and I'm not sure about it but... at least it has a little direction now. And none of you liked Andy all that much right? *ducks* Okay! Don't kill me until you've read it!

*snickers evilly*

I have enough food for the rest of the week, despite demonic Spar workers trying to trip me up with crates and feet every other step. Take it from me, Spar is evil. In a bad way. Gggrr.

Have to go to English. However I can't complain as it's my second to last lecture before Easter so... And I know I owe comments to about a bazillion people; I am reading, I am loving everything, it's just a matter of time - tomorrow, when I'm not spinning round in circles trying to do everything, I'll comment on everything, I swear. Oh and I have a tennis slash idea to run by people later too. Might be interesting. :)

There's a hole in my lecture dear Liza, dear Liza...

Well that could have been a fun lecture. If the lecturer had turned up. *sighs* It's because the English buildings are across campus from the lecture theatre and they're too goddamn lazy to walk across sometimes. Still, no lecture. Can't complain.

Okay, the tennis slash thing I was debating. In International Tennis Slash Week, I thought of doing something by snail mail, maybe sending a drabble on a postcard to everyone who wanted one or something, but although I bought postcards, I ran out of time to write anything. So it sat in the back of my mind for a while and the other day I was thinking about it again - only I was thinking how much I hate writing drabbles and it ocurred to me I could fit an entire fic on the postcards... only not just on one.

So basically, I was wondering if anyone wanted to try a little tennis slash challenge, just to get us all talking to each other a little more (we're such a small fandom, we should get to know each other better really ^__~). It works like this; I write handwrite a fic in parts, one part to each numbered postcard, around 200-300 words per postcard. The fic can be however long as however many people want postcards, so numbers don't matter. I then mix the postcards up so I don't know who's getting which part of the fic and mail one to each person who wants one. It's then up to you lot to compare the postcards when you get them and work out the entire fic. :) Like I said the postcards will be numbered, so it shouldn't be too difficult - it's just a matter of getting everyone talking to each other to work it out.

Anyone interested? It'd be next week when I'm home that the cards would get written and sent. I just thought it might be something a little different to do.
