I just realised most times my subject line is completely unrelated to the post. Heh. But that song's been in my head all day and I'm trying to get rid of it somehow. *sighs*

Fic! To mark the end of International Tennis Slash Week. We so rocked all week. *looks proud* I love this fandom.

Title: Parisian Dreams (epilogue)
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Mardy/Andy, Mardy/Mirka/Andy/Roger
Summary: Mardy and Mirka are pulling the strings while Roger and Andy are just trying to understand why they’re wandering, seemingly aimlessly, through the streets of Paris... and they’re not above a bit of manipulating of their own to try and get an explanation.
Notes: Sequel to Ficlet N, set in December 2004. Because this really needed an epilogue.

This is... this is... Call it an experiment if you will. An experiment that turned out way too long and hasn't even been read through but just think of it as throwing the plotbunny out there and seeing what questions/interest it raises.

Title: The Poetry Ficlets (4/5) (Halcyon 1)
Rating: R
Pairing: Implied Roddick/Fish for now.
Summary: … The world ended. People didn’t. Not quite.
Notes: AU fic set in a hypothetical post-‘apocalyptic’ near future (I do love my apocalypses and jumping on the current AU bandwagon seemed like a good idea.) Will lead onto something larger when - if - I get the time and if people find it interesting enough… and if I don’t completely confuse myself because this is one plot bunny that hasn’t had enough caffeine to sort itself out yet. Centred on Roger’s POV.
Disclaimer: Hasn’t… um, won’t happen to my knowledge, the various tennis players own themselves, T.S. Eliot owns ‘The Wasteland’. Blame the plotbunnies. They started it.
Warnings: Abuse, violence, death, mentions of terrorism and drug use, the world post-‘apocalypse', probably more I've missed. It’s all fun and games here.

halcyon - adj 1: idyllically calm and peaceful; suggesting happy tranquillity; "a halcyon atmosphere".

Remember - experiment. Let me know if it worked at all.

And once again it's 3am. At least I have a lie-in tomorrow. Hhhmm. A very bizarre lot of fic there I think.

Anyway, goodnight!

And since International Tennis Slash Week is officially over (*mourns*), here's what we came up with:

From A-Z by title... )

And of course the reason the whole thing was started in the first place...Deuce

I think when we work together we can produce some pretty damn cool stuff. :D

Until next year! Mwahaha!

Butter fingers does not even begin to describe it. *sighs* Literally actually, when I just dropped butter all over the kitchen floor. To quote the Lion King, 'lie down before you hurt yourself' is the sort of advice I should be taking tonight I think. ^__^

But moving on from that, happy St. David's Day! Or should I be saying Dydd Dewi Sant Hapus or whatever order it would be... *wonders* I forgot to buy daffodails at the weekend though. *headdesk* Oh and I don't envy the person who had the task of explaining to Shrub where Wales is and why he should suck up to us. He's trying too damn hard.

Speaking of Wales, there's an absolutely beautiful tiny Welsh dragon pendant in a jewellers in town that I drooled over the other day... but I can't afford it, definitely not now and possibly not next term. It may be my reward for surviving my first year at uni. If I do that is. Hhhmm. It's gorgeous though and I haven't got anything like it. I have a feeling I'll be going into stare at it a few times between now and summer. :)

I have done absolutely nothing of any use today, workwise or otherwise. I need to clean my room a little because it's a mess then I'm going to sit down and actually start some work, essay research or creative writing for tomorrow. This is why I shouldn't get up late. Nothing gets done.

Not entirely sure which fic to work on next. Bounty sequel is still being planned for Easter but other than that I have no real preferences. Anyone? I have a test and an essay in for the next two-three weeks but there should be time to fic around them.

Found out today that my summer English exam is June 13th and my Philosophy June 15th. Which means I have the entire month of May and the first week or so of June to catch up on the work I haven't done these last two terms, mainly reading. Which makes me happy and more than a little relieved. :) It also means I can relax more in Easter than I thought and will be able to write fic and decorate my room without worrying too much about work. Yay for fun subjects! Poor flatmate has two three hour exams on the same day. Will have to feed her coffee and chocolate since I'll have been off for over a month by then and will no doubt be bored out my mind. *touch wood* As long as nothing major happens to screw it up. :)

Need to try and sort out the Wimbledon trip for me and R later this week... we're thinking of youth hostelling it, for the cheapness. Need to work out how we're going to do the queuing thing though - if there's a lot of other people waiting there overnight we'll probably stay overnight, since going very early in the morning would involve walking through London very early in the morning... which isn't high on my list of things to do in life. Hhhmmm. What we really need to do is talk to someone who's been before. *contemplates* We're going to do our damndest to see either a Federer or Roddick match, with Safin, Henman and Fish also on our list as consolation prizes but you know, we haven't even worked out exactly which days we'll be there for yet, so I'm not getting my hopes up too soon. Will also try to get on TV if we do get into a Centre Court match. We should get our faces painted... *plots*

No! *slaps wrist* Actually get tickets first. Plot later.

Anyway, this is really a terrible attempt to avoid cleaning my room, so must be off. Will be around later, though there probably won't be much or any fic before the weekend. Still open to suggestions for what to work on.
