I want to buy stuff. Because I like stuff. Stuff is good.

Actually I want Keane's album Hope's and Fears. And I realised today I haven't bought a cd all summer. Plus I want new earrings and I have a ton of cash saved up... which should be going on English books.

But I've worked hard. And I want the shiny things. So may have spending spree tomorrow/Thursday. No, Thursday. Gotta work again tomorrow. Joy. x_x

A big furniture store burnt down in our local town last night, though the first I knew of it was when I walked past the cordoned off street towards work this morning. Apparently there's nothing left, though I get the feeling that's an exaggeration. The ancient thatched pub next door was what everyone was worried about though - mostly the guys who we told actually - but I've heard it's okay, which I guess is good. It's just insane. The entire street could've gone up if they weren't careful.

And of course, because my luck sucks, they didn't need to close the street where I work. Dammit.

Parents = asshats. People who write university forms = asshats. Person who invented time differences and me working early in the morning so I can't stay up to watch Roddick's match tonight = asshats.

I need to spend less time on fandom_wank. ^__^
