... To Help Explain My Tennis Obsession.

cat_o_ninetails mentioned that she knew nothing about these tennis players I'm so obsessed with slashing. This is terrible. How can I convert you all if you don't know who they are?

So, because I'm bored and this is better than filling forms in or going downstairs to talk to the parentals, I give you... slashy tennis pic spam!





It amuses me greatly that their knees are touching. Ahem. Andy Roddick's on the left, Roger Federer's on the right.







Wimbledon 2004. Most players shake hands after a match, maybe say a few words to each other. But no... these two go for the full body hug. And I don't even have to mention Federer's expresion... it speaks for itself. :-)

And I am firmly of the opinion all tennis players are crazy. Some just show it more subtly than others. ^___^

I've heard them mention 'Ivanisevic' more than once. Hhmm. :-) Tennis commentators seem to love the 'Players just aren't what they used to be...' theme and keep mentioning all these people, leaving me going... o_O??

And heh, don't think of it as being old - think of it as having enough authority to boss the younger Inmates around. ;-)

I have this talent. It is to appreciate the pretty slash even when utterly oblivious as to the original content it was created from. In fact, this is probably more true when I don't have any knowlege of the canon material, because then the OTP's won't get in the way of smut XD
