I was having a fantastic day at work today. Everything was going great, I was singing along to The Beatles, time was going quickly. Then one little thing went wrong and I proved to myself that despite my best efforts sometimes I'm simply the stereotypical silly woman. I really am. *shame* But dammit, I HATE being patronised more than anything. Gggrr.
My brother got me a set of proper speakers for my laptop. :-D No more pathetic sound! I don't really need them right now since I've got the CD player but in uni they'll be fantastic. And I'm using them anyway because they're pretty. ^__^
We seem to have aquired a huge amount of expensive technological stuff over the last few days - we're getting stuff half price 'cause the shop where my brother works is closing. New tvs, new cameras, a new monitor for thedownstairs computer, you name it we've had it. It's crazy. Another of my favourite shops is closing too and I got a ton of cheap pillows and pictures and stuff. ^___^ Might go back for more stuff in the week.
Going through books like crazy lately. Finished Lolita, Monstrous Regiment and I'm working on the biographies I'm reading for media. Can't wait until the summer when I can catch up on all the books I want to read but haven't had time to. Great Expectations has been glaring at me for nearly - more than - a year and Moby Dick is sitting there screaming "You paid for me! Read me dammit!" I think I'm going to have a book summer. Can't go to do an English degree having never read things like Wuthering Heights or The Three Musketeers which I can't even spell godammit.
Off to fic and watch Raw now. Still Classical fic at the moment since it's a way of killing both plot bunnies and revision. I'll have to catch up on all the other fic over the summer. Dude I have so much to do. o_O

EDIT: Merc beat me in the flame war - her Bible slash got "flamed" (kind of; it's not exactly the best of flames out there) before mine. I was beginning to think ff.net had grown somewhat more sensible but no! Apparently it's 'disgusting' to post Jesus/Judas, even though the reviewer (self-admittedly) hadn't even READ it, they just felt lke telling us it was disgusting. *is highly amused* At least they signed it.
