Since it really *is* far too early in the morning to subjugate you all to my terrible singing, I'll move swiftly onwards...

Am I just picking very bad fandoms lately? I struggled to find any good Moulin Rouge fanfiction archives which surprised me and looing for Scrubs slash is like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack. No JD/Doctor Cox for me. :-( I declared to my family that I wanted to marry someone like Doctor Cox because the sarcasm would keep me on my toes, but then I began to doubt that there *is* anyone like him actually in the world. I'll settle for Lex Luthor instead. ^_~

Speaking of Lex, he kept popping up in my dream last night which was an almighty weird dream anyway and his reacurring appearence just made it weirder. Not that I'm *complaining* about dreaming of Lex..... it was just.... uniquely odd. I both hate and love dreams like that. Hate because I get the feeling they should mean something and that bothers me and love because they're usually fun. This one led to me buying some blue tigerseye today and trying to bore a hole through it to wear on a necklace (don't ask; long story) Do you know that tigerseye is a bloody hard stone? I'm debating asking my dad to drill it but it'd probably shatter.

For some reason that I can't quite pinpoint, I keep getting the urge to write a slashy Clark/Lex-Go-Shopping-In-Britain fic, (a) because it would be a chance to write about Lex spending lots of money which is the next best thing *to* spending lots of money and (b) because it's Clark/Lex and I currently love the pairing. Plus I've been reading much good Clex fic lately and that always inspires me to try my hand at it. Unfortunately time is snapping at my heels and Lamp of the Valar is begging to be written sooo.... *sighs* Like I said to rainisnice earlier, I long for the day when I can just write, write, write all day long..... *blissful hazy-eyed smile* Like that'll ever happen.

I'm actually *happy* with the home page of Planet Helen. *gasp* It's rather gothic looking which doesn't really fit the community but it's pretty so hey, what the hell. I'm starting to suspect MSN of eating the invites to people though, so nobody is apparently getting them. *beats MSN with a stick* Grr.

I'm off to do something now. I'm not really sure *what*. I've got a new book (Shatterglass by Tamora Pierce) so I may read that. Yes. Book = good.
