Okay, so earlier Lilly V pointed out this *really* bad WWE fic on ff.net (where else?!) that she'd reviewed trying to be helpful and got it basically thrown back in her face. I was in a charitable mood earlier so I thought "Look, if we can make just ONE Mary-Sue writer *think* about how to write better then we'll be doing the world a favour, right?" So I reviewed, giving careful advice on how I thought she could improve the fic, and basically trying to back Lilly up. And she's just updated, saying "You know what Cloudy Magic...1st of all if you don't' like it don't read it (thank you, I'll take that advice with pleasure - Clo)..2nd I am proud of all the things I write because I don't write them for you or for anyone one else but me (So why is she posting them on ff.net?!!). if people happen to read it well then OK. As for wasting time...I am not wasting anyone's time. The only person wasting time is you."

Obviously. Let this be a lesson to all ye who would try and do good for the fiction world. Mary-Sue writers are a lost cause. And in the words of this particular Mary-Sue writer "So whatever!"

I'm going to be giggling about that all night, especially since I just got two good reviews for the latest chapter of LotV. When people give me constructive critisim I listen, because I know from experience they usually know what they're talking about. Is there a plague or a disease that simply makes people UNABLE to accept critisim, no matter how constructive? *sighs* Well although I failed, at least I tried. Sorry if I pissed you off little Mary-Sue writer, I wouldn't want to interrupt your girl-meets-Undertaker-falls-in-love-finds-out-she's-Jeff-Hardy's-brother fic now would I?!!! Sock, horror that I would even dream of such a thing!

Yeah. So. Hear the sarcasm.

On a final note: "Also look at how many people have written stuff almost exactly like mine and no one is banned. That means the people have no problem with it."

The people that have a problem with it probably just have more sense than to try and help. I should take a hint from them in future.

It's..

.. bluddy windy outside - the kind of wind when you're wondering if the hourse will stay upright kind of wind. I really want to go to bed because I hate being awake on my own in bad weather but I want to finish this slashy corner page on Planet Helen. I had it almost done and the computer crashed. -_- But this wind is freaking me out. I'm seriously leaning towards heading bedwards. But first I should let Casper in - he just wanted to go out but I'm kinda worried he'll get blown away. o_O

Wow..

.. should be off having a shower and crashing because I'm *knackered*. Somehow, despite the wind scaring the bejesus out of me, or maybe because of it, I stayed up till 5am. -_- In the holidays, 5am is my usual crashing time, but on a weekend when I only have the one day to recover it's not very wise. It takes me a while to readjust my inner clock to 5am. Although I would love to have a 5am-1pm night because the rest of my family wouldn't be awake for half of the day which would give me some peace. ^_~ lus I always concentrate better at night.

I'm experimenting with icons again. One day I'll get the perfect icon that I'll never want to change, but until that day I'm gonna keep right on experimenting. ^-^

I actually caught a brief interview with Ian - sorry *Sir Ian McKellan the other day on the radio. I happened to take my headphones out just at the beginning. Wasn't long, only about five minutes. He was talking about the play he's in at the moment, lord of the rings and stuff. It was just strange that I happened to catch it by chance.

Cold Feet is sad... *stars sniffling* It's like.... the end of an era or something. *sniffles more*

I was watching Crufts earlier and it was *insane*. I have nothing against toy dogs, but a Pekinese won Best of Show..... IT WAS A WALKING BALL OF FLUFF! For me, a dog has to LOOK like a *dog* not like a Tribble. Oblique Star Trek reference there, provided by my brother. But seriously, there were some beautiful dogs in the final (though no collies. *sulks* Collies rule!) and the walking ball of fluff beat them all. Un-smegging-believable. The Agility competition was great though. I have got to get a collie when I move out. To go with all the cats. ^_~

Right, I'm headed sleepwards. Damned college. Full five day week this week. *sulks* Although, at the end of March there's a *big* Science Festival thing on near here and on the last day the Robot Wars people'll be there. ^-^ Plus Razor! I love Razor. I'd love to go see Robot Wars live. And not just for Craig Charles you understand. The carnage is fun too. ^_~

G'nite to everyone!
