The ponytail that first led me to love Federer is no more. This makes me mournful, and also a little amused since to me the new cut makes him look about fifteen. *tries and fails to keep a straight face* Sorry Roger but it does. I wonder if this is the end of the kirby grips? I hope not. I still have kirby-grip-plotbunnies lurking around.

Also, he got a coach? Wha...? He has one of the best years ever in tennis WITHOUT one then he decides he needs one after all?

What are they feeding these tennis players right now? They're all going crazy.

"The order of play has been released for the first round of the Masters Cup Championships in Houston, and Andy (2, USA) will play Tim Henman (7, GBR) on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m."

Bloody, smegging wonderful. Now who am I supposed to cheer for?!! *mutters dire things to self*

Onto other topics; have you ever mopped a floor at 3am?

Now have you ever mopped a very sticky, very dirty, alcohol-soaked-streamer covered floor at 3am?

And finally, have you ever mopped a very sticky, very dirty, alcohol-soaked-streamer covered floor at 3am wearing brown suede boots half a size too small?

Trust me. Don't.

Went to a Litfest thing tonight; three authors read out some of their short stories and poems. I really enjoyed it; it felt like *such* a "student-y" thing to do, going to arty events, looking intellectual and enjoying great literature at the same time. It was fantastic, even the poetry which usually goes right over my head. I bought one of the author's short story collections because she was good and it looked interesting and I really need to read more short stories to help me write for my course. Which was how I justified spending the £7 I didn't really have.

Emailed the lady about studying abroad earlier and she said just to drop by this Wednesday any time. Which'll make it sort of official and really an option and... yeah. Much with the weirdness of being adventurous and crazy liek whoa. But I'm gonna go because if I don't at least look into it I know I'll always regret it. I've told myself that if I have the option of going to Canada/Australia than I'll really push to go but if it's just America then I'll wait and visit in four years time. No idea why I'm thinking about this so much other than the absolutely fantastic opportunity it'd be.

Speaking of Canada happened to be in the travel shop today and picked up a brochure for Canadian trips. Because I like depressing myself with how much I so cannot afford. I didn't even let myself look at the Australian ones because there's no way I could get there in January to see the Australian Open with Merc and it'd be even more depressing. Plus I think the flights are around the same price anyway. It's going to be a toss up for where I visit first. Because I will go, one day. Sooner rather than later hopefully dammit. When I'm not a broke student.

Just sometimes? I'd love to be filthy stinking rich.

Just sometimes.

I think I need sleep now, since I have an English essay to start, research, write and complete tomorrow and it WILL take me until the early hours of Sunday. And we're going ice-skating Sunday. Which I need at least six hours sleep to do properly.

[livejournal.com profile] liroa15 and [livejournal.com profile] shana0809 I've converted the snow and red graphics to the right sizes; does it matter if some are landscape and some portrait? They don't have to all be the same? And is there any way I can get them to you in .bmp format to keep the quality? Photobucket's image size allowance isn't enough. Maybe via MSN at some point? Will work on the rest after English essay is done for Monday.

Bed now. G'night!

Clo

In fact, the most aggravating part of the whole experince is trying to find the middle of the page for when I punch the stupid things. I mean, I could measure, but why do that? I'd much rather just eyeball it.
