clo_againNot another word on the election. I've yelled and screamed and hurled enough abuse at the TV; time to stop now. Another four years of Bush. The world has survived worse. I hope.
Going home this afternoon! Not for any particular reason *cough*watchthetennisfinalsinParis*cough* though I want to see Casper; just because I feel like doing some shopping at home and stuff. Going on the train though, which should be a challenge - although I have travelled by train before, never my own so I'll have to remember to look for the right stations and everything. :-) Hopefully should be posting from home this evening. *touch wood*
Went to Crows last night. Loved it. It's crazy; sort of Mexican-Spanish type theme going but they have the most random pictures and murals on the walls. We spent quite a while trying to work out why the skeletons in the mural behind us looked like they were sitting in the Garden of Eden. All very strange, but the food was gorgeous and then my flatmates sneakily got the waitress to bring me an ice-cream sundae with a sparkler in and they sang Happy Birthday. *hides face in embarassment* Because it was technically a meal out for my birthday, though my birthday was last Wednesday. And the whole restaurant joined in singing it! *dies* But my flatmates are lovely and sweet and bought me a Baileys Latte too for which I owe them my soul. Mmmmm. Liquer coffee.... So yeah, I had lots of fun. ^___^
I have a Philosophy essay and a Creative Writing story to do this weekend then and English essay next week so no promises of any fic in the next two weeks. However I always seem to end up ficcing at the most inconvinient times, so don't give up hope of Bounty just yet.
I need to go and start sorting my room into a fit state to be left on its own for a weekend. Considering the mess it's currently in... that may be a challenge.
