You know, when I came to univeristy to do a Creative Writing course, I had this silly notion that my fellow students would have some concept of plot continuity, characterisation and - how stupid of me - basic grammar.
However since some of them clearly don't know the purpose of - or even the correct place for - a question mark, a comma or a full stop, I'm going to go watch Tomb Raider to soothe the headache reading through all their work has given me.
I don't mean to sound snobby. I just thought doing a Creative Writing course would mean being surrounded by people who, on the whole, could y'know, write.
