Being 19 is a weird feeling. 18 didn't feel any older but 19 is like... a whole new level of maturity.

Then again, maybe not.
My flatmates are lovely and wonderful and bought me tons of presents which were surprisingly perfect considering they've only known me four weeks. They had it all purple themed and bought me a Winnie-the-pooh/Eeyore cake and socks (I adore socks; it borders on a fetish) and tons of cool things. Plus they let off what must have been Lancaster's entire stock of party poppers. *loves them* Some things I didn't even know they knew I liked, like incense and for that matter Eeyore. It's amazing what people learn about you in just a few short weeks. We're going out for a meal next week and although we were kicking around the idea of Italian, Kerrie just mentioned Crows (which I call Crowley's because it is *exactly* his sort of restaurant) where I've wanted to go ever since I first saw it. So I'm going to talk everyone into going there sometime next week. ^__^ Yay!
Somehow I didn't go to bed again until 5am. >_< I enjoyed Fahrenheit 9/11, propaganda or not and was definitely glad I got to see it. Plus I think the entire audience was anti-Bush, so there much laughter whenever he was made to look stupid. ^__^
I LOVED your presents Lirpa, although I specially adore the charm with the two tennis racquets. ;-) The card made me giggle; I hope Roger and Andy come my way this year too! :-D Everything was beautiful (am currently drinking coffee out the mug which made it safely intact - though it took me a while to get through the bubble wrap ^__~) It was wonderful, thank you so much. *big hugs*
Eeee. Am so enjoying my birthday. ^_______^
Except now I have to finish something for Creative Writing and email it off. Which is like, woe because I don't know how best to end the thing I'm sending. However it will be interesting to see the group reaction to something I literally pulled out of thin air and made up as I went along. Hopefully next time I'll be a little more organised.
I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say but... it's gone. Maybe later.
Happy birthday to meeeee....
