Which means... witches are made of wood?
Oct. 24th, 2004 03:05 pmAm being productive today. Have already finished Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and am about to read Gertrude and Ophelia. Yay for productiveness in English! Philosophy is another story but that can wait till Tuesday.
Just went to check my mail on the off chance I'd have something - and got a letter from
squishy_monkey and a big box from 'rents for my birthday - it's sitting next to
liroa15's box on my shelf, begging to be opened. Must resist but it's so damn difficult gaaahh. So am feeling loved and popular. *grin*
squishy_monkey I'll write back and post it tomorrow when I'm up by the post office. Letters are fun. Oh! But I need to correct a mistake I made when posting my original address; in the postcode it's OLT, not ALT. Sorry. Flatmates confused me. ;-) Doesn't really matter, everything gets to me anyway (some of the addresses on the letters in my postbox are terrible; I pity the poor postman).
I'm working around the gaping holes in the continuity of Bounty. Damn self for not realising there was no way for Roger and Andy to be in the same showers. (Must've been wishful thinking *coff*) Damn self even more for inadvertantly making it a gaping plot hole towards the end. Dammit. But am working around it; it means extra scenes which is either a good or a bad thing, I haven't decided yet. I have plenty of fic planned for between now and Christmas though, so I want to finish it soon. Plus Lirpa's gonna kill me. Or possibly my Andy muse. Grate woe.
Going to see Fahrenheit 9/11 on Tuesday with Rachel from next door (she's incidently the fellow tennis fan I mentioned a few posts ago). Am looking forward to it; I've been wanting to see it ever since I first heard of it. Yay for student cinemas showing these things! :-D Will give opinion after I've seen it; I'm trying to forget everything I've read so I'll go into it not expecting anything. It's difficult. Will let you all know how it goes.
I think my flat is mostly dead from lack of sleep. Some of them didn't go to bed until half seven this morning. Was shameful; I'm supposed to be the one staying up and I was asleep by 2am. That's probably why I've actually managed to do some work by now though, while everyone else is just sort of waking up. ^__^ So, plus side.
T'was beautiful weather this morning, clear and sunny but it's gone grey now. Le sigh.
Well, I guess it's back to work.

Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 11:49 am (UTC)Andy is still safe, driving me crazy, but safe.
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 12:07 pm (UTC)Yay! Safe Andy! Roger misses him. They can't have mad-bunny-sex when they're apart. (Which is good for my sanity but not for theirs.)
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 12:11 pm (UTC)The movie for that particular play is also weird but boring. I never really understood it, despite my English teacher's best efforts.
And see, I'm doing you a favour, I really am. no mad-bunny sex=good. :)
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 12:33 pm (UTC)There's a movie?! Wow. People who make movies really need to get out more. That's a terrible book to make into a movie. It's bad enough as a play...
Yes but no mad-bunny sex = a Roger muse getting more frustrated by the minute. There is going to be some serious make-up sex when Andy gets back. I think I'll have to stick some earplugs in and let them get on with it.
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 12:36 pm (UTC)And I see the problem. If they weren't such a perfect couple Roger could find someone else, but alas he shall never find anyone as perfect as Andy.
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 12:40 pm (UTC)*snuggles the Roger/Andy perfectness* Andy does want a 3-way fic with Mardy at some point. Roger's being stubborn but I think Andy'll win on this one. They're perfect together but it helps to throw some variety in once in a while. ;-) Plus Mardy's pretty. *is shallow*
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 12:43 pm (UTC)Mardy is indeed pretty, and I think shana is thinking the same way you're Andy is. I wouldn't mind seeing that myself. So, Mardy, you can come with Andy and Roger when they show up in Lancaster, 'kay?
And we shall never let them go *evil laugh*
Re: Rosencrantz...
Date: 2004-10-24 01:13 pm (UTC)Andy/Roger/Mardyomgtehprettehwhee!. I would in no way protest to a sudden surge of A/R/M threesome fics. *cough* Purely because I haven't seen any three-way tennis slash yet and it would be nice to vary the fandom a little. Not because they're all so pretty. Absolutely nothing to do with the prettiness involved. Nope.
YAY! *squishes Roger, Andy and Mardy into her student room and locks the door* But if we never let them go there'll never be any more tennis matches and no more sexually-innuendo-ish hugs at the end and, and... we'd have them all to ourselves and...
Never letting them go ever. ;-)
