clo_againI love Christmas time. My hair is being braided with red and green - I'm adding an extra braid every day. I think I've have run out of room by about December 15th though. ^-^
Oh my god! We were in the TV studio this morning, but we never got round to filming anything because we ran out of time. Then in last lesson, Rosie (who does media too but in a different class) said they were in the TV studio at about quarter past 12 and the roof started collapsing!! There are toilets above and the pipes had burst, so all the water came through the roof! And an hour or so earlier Marc had been sitting in that exact spot! I txted Lora to tell her and it went something like this:
Me: THE TV STUDIO CEILING COLLAPSED! All the water from the toilets came through, right above where Marc was sitting!
Lora: He'd have been okay if he was a fish!
Once again the fish rear up and show their googly eyes. I've decided to make a scrapbook for college and I'm going to have to put fish in it. And googly eyes. And take photos of everyone to put in it. I'll have to buy a scrapbook at the weekend.
Speaking of college, [mini-rant]"Hi Lucy! Remember us? The people you used to hang out with for five years? Maybe when you actually manage to unwrap yourself from around Freak-boy and his money you'll deign to talk to us again. Or maybe not. Gee thanks." [end of mini-rant]
It's cold, but not snow-cold which has me ready to scream in frustration. I. WANT. SNOW. PLEASE!!! Snow is my favourite weather and we're lucky to get a few inches once in the whole winter. Bloody global warming. We've been predicted a white christmas this year, but since I trust weather forecasters as much as I trust the government, I have absolutely no faith that we'll get snow before Easter. Doesn't mean I haven't got my fingers crossed for a white christmas though. ^-^
Getting contacts permanently now!! They have to be ordered in groups of six, but I get money off because I'm in full time education. *G* So my parents are happy because it's cheaper than they thought it'd be and I'm happy because I get full time contacts. ^-^
*sighs* Gotta paint the rest of the faerie picture tonight. In fact I might go and do that now. Or I might wait until after dinner. Having Chinese tonight!! It's only rip-off Chinese from the supermarket, but it's almost as good as the real thing. So I'll eat then paint. Good plan.
One more thing before I run off to read my book; Lora came out with the most incredible thing today. I can't remember what we were talking about - it must have been something about boyfriends or something. Then Lora said she thinks there's someone in the world for everyone and when all the weird thoughts come into your head from nowhere it's the thoughts of your other person somewhere in the world. I've heard of soulmates but this was such a great idea that I immediately wished I could write it down so I didn't forget it. I adore the idea of soulmates, but it's very daunting when you think of how many people there are in the world. We were talking about love in Pschyology today and frankly, psychologists are so cynical!! Get some romanace in your souls! Love isn't just an instintive thing so we reproduce better - it's *love*. Wonderful. Romantic.
Having said that, *never* EVER desert your friends for someone you think you love. Believe me; it isn't worth it. Don't judge a person by how they treat you; judge them by how they treat their friends.
