... but I think on this CW piece, I really could've done better. Fortunately we're *meant* to go away and re-write in light of what everyone says, so it's not like it's going in my portfolio in it's current state. For which I am hugely relieved and now I can spend the next few days working on tennis slash. Mmm. Tennis slash.

In other news, I met Jasper Fforde yesterday. He signed my Eyre Affair and stamped it with a 'EAT MORE TOAST' stamp. Much hilarity was had. He came in to give a talk to the Writer's Guild and was really funny and interesting - and I only embarrassed myself slightly by commenting my old English teacher would've been very jealous I got to meet him as he signed the book. Otherwise I behaved impecably (probably because he wasn't a six foot tall gorgeous Hollywood actor in which case I would've got myself carted off to an asylum somewhere or died of embarrassment). But no, t'was fun.

Am an idiot. -_- Realised an hour or so ago as I went to email my Creative Writing piece - which had to be emailed to my tutor before midnight tonight - that I'd thrown away the piece of paper with her email address written on it. Panic. Woe. Despair. Checked the website and although her name was there, he address wasn't listed - and it wasn't listed in the course book either. Eventually pieced it together from the standard tutor format - initial.surname@lanc etc - and sent it anyway. Fingers crossed. *headdesk*

Am. So. Dumb.
