I've been giggling for a good five minutes. I think someone must be sneaking happy pills into my coffee - third night in a row that I've been happy!
I'm playing with an idea for a fic after I finish the GMS Series. I've been toying with it for a few weeks and I think I've setttled on telling it from one POV, but I need to finsh GMS before I do anything else, plus I'll have the Weyr of the Lost sequel to do in January so it may take a while. Still I'm looking forward to it - it's going to be about gang warfare, a topic I've been fascinated with for a while. There's a new Leo Dicrapio movie coming out soon about it - I hate him with "the fire of a thousand suns" but it may be worth going to see if I'm writing about the subject.
Marc passed his art assessment with flying colours. Lora... well she got good predicted grades. That's what matters. It may help to do some work next time Lora. ^_~ Well done to Marc anyway. As long as he emails me..... *mock glare*
Oh I definitely had something to talk about today. Was it.... no. It could be... no. *sighs* It was deep and meaningful too. Or not. But still. I do have to do more Reverie but I need to get my media article on tigers done first. Damn I meant to get chapter nine finished last week. Is all this homework necessary people??? Hmm?
I REMEMBERED WHAT I WANTED TO SAY! *cheers* Okay, I was thinking today; the thing that annoys me MOST in the *entire* world is when I'm trying to do something and someone keeps talking to me. I hate it. Hate it hate hate it. I end up wanting to just yell "SHUT up! I'm WORKING for godssake!" Maybe it's just me being anti-social, but that's why I much prefer doing homework, or writing, or reading on my own, because then I don't have anyone trying to interrupt me. That's why animals are better than people - they can't distract you with stupid remarks. Although they do it pretty well by jumping up to sit on your paper/book/lap.
*snickers* That lap comment reminds me - I was waiting for the bus today with Lora because we got out of media early and Marc had refused to come with us because... well I'd better not repeat his comment. ^-^ Anyway there was a bus driver dressed up as Santa. The following conversation went something like that.
Lora: OOO! Santa bus! Go on that one!
Me: I won't go on that one, I'll end up in Lapland" *thinks* Now I say that word I realise exactly how many dodgy connotations it has.....
Lora: *snickers* If Santa tried to do a lap dance he'd squish you!
And I thought fish and googly eyes were bad.
This song brings back so many memories from high school. *smiles* It was Charly's favourite song so Phil used to sing it all the time. I remember him singing it in music and we were discussing starting a band and all joined in. *sighs* No idea why that memory stuck but it did.
Now I *have* to go and do my media article - it has to be in for tomorrow. *sighs*
