clo_againMmm. Waffles. *munches ignoring the fact dinner'll be ready in about ten minutes*
My sanity today is owed almost entirely to a little girl called India whose mother runs the store next to our coffee shop. I came back from lunch ready to commit mass murder having had an appalling morning... and found she'd been sitting waiting for me for half an hour because she wanted *me* to make her an ice-cream sundae and no one else was good enough to do it. ^__^ And then Steve shared a blueberry muffin with me and we chatted with Tony about politics and cultural identities and how the British are the only people who queue. Which actually made me feel okay enough to survive the afternoon.
Sometimes I love people. ^__^ Not very often being a waitress, but just sometimes.
And since I have tomorrow off, I'm going to make myself some icons. I might even get myself a paid account again at the end of this month. I'm not sure, but after all this work I've decided I deserve a treat... and more icons *definitely* falls into 'treat' category.
Hair is definitely several shades darker. Am much impressed. Will have to keep using the Lush henna; it's messy but it's fun and makes your hair all shiny. <3 Lush. ^_________^
Learning Italian is going... slowly. Parli piu lentamente per favore!
