Bought the Cats cd at the weekend and this is the first time I've really *listened* to it. I love this song. ^_____^ Although Mr Mistoffelees will always hold first place in my affections as my favourite song before I even knew what a musical *was*.

Have discovered solution to both working three days in a row and missing the Olympic Freestyle Dressage Wednesday afternoon; cancel the dental appointment and work Thursday instead. Mwahaha! Now all that remains to be done is to tell my boss... but fingers crossed.I *really* want to see that Freestyle competition.

Okay my 'net is playing up. *glares at it*

I have far too much to cram into the next couple of hours, so I'd better go start some of it. Pfft. Also bought the black henna hair dye stuff for my hair at the weekend. So hair is getting dyed... tomorrow night if I'm not working Wednesday. Will endeavour to post Before and After pictures. Definitely no 'in progress' ones though since it involves wrapping my head in clingfilm and I'm not willing to make such an idiot of myself, even on LJ. ;-)

I LOVE Cats. I actually know a friend of my mother's who is in the US touring company. I don't remember the character name, but she dueted on "Gus: The Theatre Cat" in the show and it was wonderful (she also understudies for Grizzabella). I've seen her in it twice and it continues to be one of my favorite shows.

Though, I have to say, getting to see "Damn Yankees" with Jerry Lewis playing Applegate was pretty high up there too.

I've always wanted to see it live. I was gutted when it finished in the West End before I had a chance for a trip to see it. One day dammit.

The Lion King is next on my list aong with Phantom of the Opera. Mmmm, musicals. ^___^

Ohhh, yes. I went to see Cats back when I was in primary school, and thus a little too young to appreciate it in its entirety (evidently, it was a trip more for the teachers than the pupils). It's a great show though, and I'd love to see it again.
"...but when they return to the scene of the crime; MacCavity is not THERE!" Classic.

Name my bunnygirl, dammit! (http://www.livejournal.com/users/felixandrews/12043.html)
