Well the English situation got a kind of closure today. After the big scene yesterday, our new english teacher got the Head of English to come in and explain to us why they'd changed MArtin's timetable like they had, and then Martin himself came in to talk to us and 'explain'. *thinks* I'm not really sure how I feel; yes we got them to take notice of us but in the long run all that trouble got us nowhere. Martin isn't coming back - although he did say when he told his wife how we all protested about losing him she wanted to invite our entire class over for dinner. *grins* He told us he was enjoying his new job and although he did want out class back he couldn't get a new job then turn round and say "no I don't want it anymore". Which is a good point. *thinks more* And he promised to come back nearer to Christmas to do the Simpsons lesson that he promised us. *sighs* We came so close. SO close to making a difference. It made me realise that if we actually work together you CAN do things. My old History teacher used to tell us that if we could just get the entire school to work in agreement and protest against school uniform then the staff wouldn't be able to stop us wearing our own clothes. The trouble in high school is that we were all at that age where teenagers just will *not* work together for anything. In college everyone is slightly more mature, and when you have a relationship like our english class does then we could move mountains if we wanted to. If we didn't all get expelled in the process.
Well the long and short of it is that we agreed to give the new teachers another chance. Unfortunately the Head of English raved at length on their "spectacular" teaching qualifications. As of yet I have seen *no* sign at all of teaching qualifications, never mind spectacular ones. And the teacher we argued with yesterday already got Trixy into trouble with her P.T. for absolutely no reason and the entire class agrees it was unjust and we told Martin that. We may give them another chance but unless they start acting like teachers and not prison wardens then they will be walking on *extremely* thin ice. I am not going to put up with being made to feel inferior every lesson.

*grins* I put "giving them a frsh start" into terms of "learning to hate them all over again!" Which totally is not the point, but still......

On the plus side, I think I was just going through a rough patch in Psych because we had two great lessons yesterday and today. Got a test tomorrow though. Which reminds me; I need to go revise. 0_0

I finally got a move on with Reverie and I'm working on chapter eight!! Yey!!

*points at icon* Gotta love Jareth.
