Welcome to Alien Detector Pro.

Got my ear pierced again. No, that is meant to say 'ear', not 'ears'. Went to Claire's to get it done and they refused to do the other saying there wasn't enough room. -_- Riiiight. So they did one ear. Then charged me £13 when in the window it said £6:99. I was not a happy bunny but like a muppet I paid it. Should've kicked up a fuss - I almost went back when I looked at my reciept later and realised they'd charged me £4 for the ear-cleaning stuff which you DON'T BLOODY NEED (this is the third time I've had my ears pierced; fifth if you count them individually and trust me, you don't need the fucking expensive specialist stuff; bloody saltwater will do). I wouldn't have been annoyed if I'd known they were gonna charge me for it but the woman made out it was being thrown in for free and the earring itself cost £13, however that was not the case. So Claire's = fucktards. And after that went to English and Jody told me they do it very cheap in the market and it's fine. -_- Clo = doofus. So may get other ear done sometime, or may leave it with three in one and two in the other. Am swiftly running out of room, and I flat out refuse to get tongue/lip/nipple/belly button done. Will consider nose, however am doubtful. On plus side, ear does not hurt so yay!
Spent a happy hour and a half editing music video, and got first verse and chorus done. Lip-synching is a pain in the ass, but once you get it right, it's bloody cool. ^____^ Wish I had Adobe Premier, but would no doubt crash my computer whenever it was opened, so eh. *sighs*
Do you ever get the urge to write fanfiction for books you read as a kid? Not the teeny weeny baby books made of cardboard, but the ones you read when you were like 8 or 9? Is there any point to it? *muses* I have too much to do anyway, so I don't know whether to kill the plot bunny or let it run for a while. Hhhmm.
No DVDs for Clo this month. Cost too much to have ear pierced. *sulks* No Paid LJ either. Am broke goddamit and it isn't even the end of the month yet! Bloody hell. Not that I technically urgently NEED anything this month, it'd just be nice to have a little spare cash to buy a few of the growing list of DVDs I want. -_- Honestly. Never bloody happy..... ^___^
Christine sleeping over tomorrow, we're going to have a Brad-Pitt-night and do a 'proper' Couch Potato feature for Planet Helen. Have popcorn. ^_____^ Tis good!
Right, off to wander and fic and doodle. Oh Friday nights. The excitement. ;-)
Love, peace and jelly babies,
Clo

Date: 2004-01-30 04:41 pm (UTC)Thing is, if they'd said "The stuff is £4, you have to buy it..." I'd have said "Uh... no thanks, I've got some!" Or something. Damn slippery sales people.
Vaction spontaneity is sometimes a bad thing. :-) Usually good fun though.

Hehe. We had been going around the country and I had seen so many Claire's that I said to my friend, "this is rediculous, the next time I see a Claire's I'm getting my ears peirced". And so I did. (I had wanted them anyway, hehe.)

Date: 2004-02-02 03:18 am (UTC)Maybe that's a sales strategy - they bombard you with stores so that you get so fed up of seeing them, you just *have* to go in. ^__^
Hey, it works. :-)
