Have not updated much lately. Bad Clo. Must make more time in day to update journal.
"......."
Now I'm trying to update and have nothing to say!
We have a study day tomorrow so I'm going shopping despite severe Lack of Money. We - me and the woman - want to buy a zig zag mirror for the brother's room. We're trying to surreptitiously redesign it without him noticing. Said plan will crash and burn if he reads this but eh. He's probably noticed by now anyway.
Saw the play - musical really - Return to the Forbidden Planet on Monday night. It's a musical somewhat based on Shakespeare's The Tempest 'Twas good, though hilarious. I nearly died of laughter when Captain Tempest met Miranda and he burst into 'Good Vibrations'. Yes. Strange sense of humour have I. ^___^ But it was a good play, hardly any mistakes even though it was opening night. Many in-jokes, such as the 'Live long and Prospero!' line accompanied by the Star Trek 'Live long and prosper' hand gesture. And the lines:
Tech: "Captain! A bleep on the scanner!"
Captain: "What is it?"
Tech: "I don't know. *bleep* Captain! I think I have two bleeps!"
Captain: "Are you sure?"
Tech: "I don't know."
Captain: "Well what is it, two bleeps or not two bleeps?"
Crew member: "That IS the question."
And various other Shakespeare-based hilarity. Spotted several Romeo and Juliet references and a couple of Macbeth ones but I didn't notice anything from Much Ado About Nothing which is the one I've read most recently. Was good.
Watched '28 Days Later' last night and enjoyed it, despite it scaring the crap out of me several times. Then randomly turned on the movie channels and came across Sorority Boys involving Michael Rosenbaum dressed as a woman. Hysterical laughter ensued for about the next hour and a half. Even better I kept imagining Clark using it as blackmail in Smallville. ^___^
Have a new coffee shop in town called 'The Candy Bar'. Love it already. They give you a free chocolate with your coffee and a little paper cup of marshmallows with hot chocolate and they sell all these amazing sweets and chocolates. Was Dee's birthday so we bought him a big slice of chocolate fudge cake. More hilarity ensued when Daniel & Jamie went up to the counter to order coffe. The lady asked 'Are you together?' meaning 'are you paying together?'. However it sounded very much like she was asking if they were a couple. :-D Me and Christine died of laughter across the room while Daniel kind of froze. 'Twill amuse me for the rest of the year. :-D That is if they don't kill me for talking about it. ;-)
Ever had a great icon picture but don't know what lyrics/quote to put on it? I do. Not that I have any room for more icons. -_- Dumb free account. Will be able to afford paid account sometime soon. I hope.
Jeez. Guess I did have stuff to say after all. :-)
Love, peace and jelly babies,
Clo
