Grrrr...

I'm feeling sulky and annoyed for various reasons but mostly because Fool's Fate (which I have sat down and read solidly for about six, seven, possibly eight hours and I now have about 50 pages left) has pissed me off to high heaven and back. Because Fitz is a fucking idiot. Yes. And that's all I have to say on the matter.

So I'm tired, I have to get up early tomorrow, I have accomplished a grand total of nothing this holidays and I'm pissed off at a fictional character. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I am officially out of my tree at this point. What's more I've cut the fucker down with a chainsaw, chopped it into tiny pieces and burned them. So nerh.

This is what reading for too long does to me. I'm going to bed. Apologies for my short, pointless and sleep-deprived rant. Full opinions of Fool's Fate will be posted tomorrow when I've finished it. That is if I survive the ice-skating. *touch wood*

You know, there is a lj community called 'fitz_is_stupid', because, ta-da, he is such a goddamn moron. Of course, there were enormously fluffy moments in there - usually quite ruined by Fitz's inherent inability to act in a sensible manner - but once I finished FF, I just went back and read the squishy bits. :D

Yes, there were beautiful squishy bits. *misty-eyed sigh* I could not *believe* the ending. It was like..... entire book, amazng, wonderful Fitz/Fool moments, then the ending had to screw it all up. -_- Gggrrr. But will rant about that in a separate post.

*grins* As soon as I finished FF, I went trolling about the net for Fool/Fitz - found fitz_is_stupid and made a hell of a lot of friends that way. And then there was mutual realisation that we went to the same university and the rest is history. But yeah, the community is rather cool.
I'll have to show you my fanart sometime :D

I had so much fun with Fool's hair. I mean, it's described as 'dandelion fluff' - that was the only way I could picture dandelion fluff hair really o.o
