We finally have frost! Proper frost so everything is white and sparkly and pretty. All hail winter! It took its sweet time in getting here I'll tell you. Now all we need is the snow.... I'm very jealous of all you people who get snow every winter, guaranteed. *pauses* Come to think of it I was even *dreaming* about snow last night. Talk about obsessed.

Every time I watch TTT I hate Arwen more. On the commentary they explained to an extent why she had to be there but in the books she's like there for a *page*. Stop stealing Eowyn's screentime you bloody elf! Hey PJ? You know you left out Tom Bombadil and the world didn't end right? Well could you just *consider* changing the end of RotK from the books? Pretty please? I promise to help protect you from the screaming, rampaging Tolkien purists if you do. *hopeful look*

I think..... I may play on Theme Hospital for a while, since I haven't all weekend. All the other games I haven't finished yet including Resident Evil, GTA 3 and my French copy of Riven are staring at me mournfully but I'm being strong. And I'm too lazy to work hard at games I haven't played much before. ^____^

I bought it in France after not being able to find it over here, trusting it would have an 'English' option like most English games have 'French', 'Italian', 'German' etc. Got it home, it remained firmly in French. Decided to try it anyway. Got to about the third pages-long vital clue that I couldn't understand and gave up. I need to either learn French (and I tried and even translated some of it but it took so long I gave up again ;) ) or get an English version. Which I will one day since I really enjoyed Myst.

Is it worth getting in English?

Not really sure, never got past Myst myself. From what I've heard it's not too bad in English. It's been forever since I've really known anyone who played stuff like that on a regular basis. Anymore my geek friends IRL are into Final Fantasy, Dynasty Warriors, and Soul Calibur.

But look at me, babbling on. Geek is I.

*giggles* Geek is I too! None of my friends are geeks. My geekdom survives merely because I can argue with my brother over the finer points of Stargate, Farscape and occasionally Star Wars. But he's a lost cause when it comes to Final Fantasy. *sigh*

I shall hunt down an English version of Riven then. If I hadn;t banned myself from making more icons I'd definitely be making a 'Proud to be a Geek' one right now. ^____^
