Life is bizarre.

clo_againI'm watching the England/Australia rugby match. (for those of you who don't know, I live in Wales) Technically I should be supporting England. Only now I'm screaming for England's blood because they keep *bloody* scoring everytime Australia equalise. I wanted Australia to win. *sigh*
My plans to type have been disrupted by my mother who wants to go shopping to where my auntie works... and my auntie has been offering me this kitten because it's the last of the litter and the lady whose cat had the kittens doesn't want to keep it. My parents keep putting their collective-parent foot down to my plainitive cries of "Kitten! KIIIIIIIITTTTTTEEEEEEN!!" on the grounds we have a cat who would no, not eat the kitten but would probably run away in mortal fear. I love you Casper I do, but truely, the rubbish bin is *not* a monster out to get you. Personally I think he'd make friends with it after a week or so (my auntie had two of the kittens which are ADORABLE and her cat who is like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of the cat world is now making friends with them) but my parents keep saying no. -_- Even offering to give up Christmas this year didn't work. But if I go to see my auntie today she may help me convince my mum.... and if the woman is convinced my brother is likely to support me vocally (rather than just sitting there and saying nothing -_-) and my dad will be convinced. *deep breath* So I'm torn between going out and writing. Though I'm still in my PJs and the woman's leaving soon so I think typing is gonna win by default. *sigh* KIIIIITTTTEEEEENN!!!!
Moving on from that story which I sure you all find interesting ("ZzZzzzZzZzzZ" ^_~) I only got through the first half of the cast commentary last night, so I'll watch the second half and as many of the special features as I can today. ^___^ TTT overload! If I get Pirates on DVD next month then I'll be a happy bunny. ^__^ The Farscape DVDs mock me with their price tags though. Grrrr.
Speaking of Farscape I mentioned it earlier in the week and all my friend's reactions were: "Oh god NOT that stupid Sci-fi program!" *growls* One of my friends proceeded to tell me that there is no possiblity a living ship could EVER evolve or live in space and that is was a load of crap. *narrows eyes and hires the assassin* Then again this is the same guy who yells at me for writing guy/guy slash "because it's disgusting" then can't find anything to say when I accuse him of liking girl/girl. *shrugs* It's like the Moulin Rouge phenomena - guys will watch the first ten minutes then turn it off and declare to the world that it is a crap film. How can you judge a film on TEN MINUTES?!! Loads of guys seem to do this yet the ones who are actually intelligent enough to sit down and watch it all the way through range from liking it to loving it. -_- Guys have no logic to their thought processes. Neither do I really but at least I'm willing to give stuff a chance. Grrr.
END OF VARIOUS RANTS. I don't know where all that came from. o_O I think the rugby set me off. What does 'swing low sweet chariot' mean anyway? *wonders*
Anyway, off to type and wonder why my brother's Futurama season four DVD set just arrived with my name on the envelope. o_O Life just keeps on getting weirder.
