Was informed by parental earlier that Primeval was coming back in 2011. Didn't believe her totally until I just googled it but YES. MY WONDERFULLY SILLY LITTLE SHOW ABOUT MADE-UP MODERN DINOSAURS IS BACK. I AM SO EXCITED. EXCEPT I NEVER WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE BECAUSE OMG, CLIFFHANGER AND NOW I HAVE TO FIND IT.

Primeval!! *glees* It got really good in the last series and I was so, so gutted they cancelled it without wrapping up all the beautiful plot arcs (possibly they did for some of them and I missed some by not watching the last ep. I shall fix this). Also taking a year out AND a confirmed fifth series...maybe Douglas Henshall could be convinced to come back in clone form. OH MY GOD STEPHEN. STEPHEN CAN COME BACK AND CONNOR OR ABBY'LL HAVE TO EXPLAIN ABOUT CUTTER. OH. OH. I WANT THIS.

Basically, my faith in British television has been renewed. I remember my parents calling me in uni and saying "Are you watching this show? You need to be watching this show." And my response of "Giant whats in the sewers of London? Hah hah no." And then I watched it anyway and loved it and spent three years trying to explain to everyone why a bunch of adorkable pretty people chasing random dinosaurs around London was worth watching.

...Actually, why did I even have to explain that? PRETTY DORKS AND DINOSAURS. ALL IS GOOD. Especially in the latter 2nd-3rd series when they started coming up with plot arcs as opposed to random monsters-of-the-week. Well, they had that too but also, plot arcs!

So. Yes. Roll on 2011. :DD Now I just have to decide if this makes me want the Primeval DVDs more than Merlin. Hm.

(I don't have my Cutter/Stephen icon anymore. FAIL. This must be fixed!)

WHAT. SERIOUSLY? Oh god you did. *facepalm* Sorry. I have no idea how I missed that. Clearly I need to cut some pointless celebrities off my Twitterflist so I don't miss THE IMPORTANT THINGS. Dammit!

"Yes, they're all coming back, which is fantastic. Obviously we've got to be careful about how we book them. This is the longest run that's been commissioned. We started off getting six episodes, then seven and then ten. Now it's 13. So it's a long stint for them, but they've all signed up."

From here. Sounds like everyone is indeed coming back but journalists are foolish enough not to realise how important Captain Pretty is. All is good!

(I have to say, I'm ecstatic over Ben Miller coming back too. His few scenes every week give me ridiculous amounts of glee. <3!!)

You can make this up to me in two weeks. :D Sooner if I decide to mail stuff to you because four weeks to get DVDs (and they're not here yet) is ridiculous at this point.

Edit: Also you can watch House and Wilson living together and being all domestic with me because it's so, so awesome. And something out of a fic. But really awesome.
