I want it to be tomorrow so I have an excuse to use this icon other than GIP. It should really be a picture from Wimbledon considering how many of them there are but they're all on my other computer and I'm too lazy to wade through the crap on my desk to turn it on.

I should really get showered and dressed because there's some sort of carnival going on in the park behind our house today and I should actually check it out at some point. Except, I started watching The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and while I watched it on the plane to Oz and was unimpressed, it's a lot better on a big screen where you can actually admire the pretty effects.

Plot is still not up to much but. Pretty effects! And Brendan Fraser who is still adorable in these movies. It's enough to keep me here on the sofa even without Oded Fehr or a plot that makes some semblence of sense.

(I mean, yetis? I don't know why I find that harder to buy than you know, two thousand year old mummies and armies of dead people but YETIS?

...Did I rant about this after I saw it on the plane? It's entirely possible.)

Okay it's finished. I should probably go do something.

Oh, that icon... I do adore those two.

Here is A Fact: The first The Mummy film is one of my favourite films. Ever. It's got that glow around it when I think about it; I first saw it during a very nice period of my life, so the feeling sort of lingers. Plus, it's great fun!
