clo_againI need a standardised reply to Planet Helen applications. Or simply put in the description; don't apply unless you know existing members'..... then again would anyone pay attention? Doubtful. So I'll carry on sending emails that say 'sod off' in a very polite way.
THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO LIKE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN AS MUCH AS ME!! *cheers* I feel all warm and fuzzy and slightly less of an obsessive fan now. And in fact, I feel so good, I want to go see the film again. But am being forced to wait until Christine comes back next week and we'll drag Lucy to see it. I have to wait an entire week. *mourns* What I'm going to do when the cinema stops showing it and I have to wait for the DVD, I don't know. Spontaneously combust perhaps?
Having a DVD night tonight though, so that'll make me feel better. Am descending on Lucy with DVDs and chocolate. Will spend night discussing pros and cons of Johnny Depp vs Ben Affleck vs John Cusack. Hhhhm. Some kind of oil should be involved in that fight.

mistful's journal, I've been thinking about something that's bugged me for a while. Which are my favourite fanfics If I could have a book published with say ten of them in, which ones would I pick? Hhhmm. Okay, here goes.
1) Bitter Wine by Mercury32. Because it's the fic that introduced me to the Inmates, to epic-fic, to all that has made my life lovely and amusing this last year or so. And because Jericho/Steph is still my favourite wrestling pairing.
2) Intergalactic Medley by Lilly V. Because I happened across it on ff.net entirely at random months before I even met the author and it gave me faith that Fic Can Be Good after ff.net nearly reduced me to a sobbing heap of despair. Then I met the author and realised how cool she is. ^__^
3) .... Sleep While I Drive by Jenn. Best Smallville slash fic I've *ever* read.
4) Bagenders, both series by Lady Alyssa and Random Flatmate. Because it's classic. And slashy. And so totally British I want to hug it.
5)Bunkbeds. For the kinky werewolf sex dammit! Though the site seems to have vanished which makes me sad. :-(
6) Brothers In Arms by The Nightrunners since it's the best, serious modern-day LotR epic I've read.
(This is going to be a long book; most of these fics are epic length)
7) A Nice Friendly Game by Koi. More Smallville slash fic. It had the line: "By a white, furry Sasquatch from beyond the stars" in it. How can you not love that?
8) Sentinal by Lady Darkmoon because it was the first slash fic I ever read and therefore is responsible for my Spiral Downwards Into Giggling Every Time Legolas Gropes Aragorn In Moria and every other slashy thing I've seen/said/written over the last year.
I'm leaving spaces 9 and 10 open for the wonderful fics I have no doubt forgotten right now, though I'm inclined to fill one of them with 'Eldarion Has Three Daddies' by Lady Alyssa and Random Flatmate or 'A Mirkwood Elf in Dumbledore's Court' by Sun Queen. The latter would most definitely be in there if it was finished. *coff*writemoreDru!*coff*
Now I have no doubt bored you all with my fic-ramblings, I'm off to play around with my communities, possibly work more on the my very weird, pirate-orientated answer to writer's block and get all my stuff together for tonight. And possibly to eat some noodles since I'm hungry.
