So I went to Lush on Monday which is always a silly thing to do but I wanted to get another free £15 moisturiser before the offer ended and my dad wanted shampoo anyway, so that was £8 I wouldn't have to spend toward the £20 and there's always stuff I want from there, so making £12 would be easy...

Yeah, I spent £40.25. Including the father's shampoo so like £32 of my own money but still. (I got two free moisturisers though! But sadly the same two, because they'd run out of the others). And I thought maybe I'd been ridiculous to spend £10 on a pot of Dream Cream hand/body lotion, even though I'd wanted some for a while. Honestly, I operate on cheaper-is-better everywhere but Lush. I wouldn't dream of walking into Boots and spending £10 on anything like that.

But oh my god, it's reminded me why I don't care about stretching the budget for Lush. My hands go berserk with itching and redness if I so much as think of most hand lotions (or washing poweders or soaps or even the wrong kind of water it seems sometimes) but Dream Cream actually fixes them. I've used it twice and already my hands look better than they have in years. And it smells nice and isn't too sticky and oh, I think I have found my One True Love. Along with the Vanishing Cream moisturiser which is also fantastic.

Seriously. They charge a lot for a reason. Wow. I might have to beg [livejournal.com profile] kindoftrouble for a trip to their new sister-shop B when I'm in London, though maybe the last thing I need is to be surrounded by more beautiful-yet-hideously-expensive things. But. Awesome.

We can go, but only if you are in charge of stopping me from buying everything in the store. I have told myself I can't go to Lush unless I actually need something because everything from that shop is amazing. And I have so much sitting in my cupboard.

You should see my stock of shower gel right now.

Maybe we should leave all the money and cards behind and just go to admire. Or set a budget. Or just rob a bank before we go, that works too. My house is slowly filling up with Lush stuff too. It's just so damn awesome. Lush shops should have Beware: Awesomeness signs outside.

Your collection of Lush shower gel amuses me everytime I'm there. ^_^ I have no idea how you're ever going to use it all.

*dies of laughter* You need to throw a shower gel party. Or maybe start mixing them to make your own flavours. How do you have room in your bathroom for it all? :D Oh the things Lush makes us do.

:p Stop laughing! It all smells so yummy. I don't think I will run out any time soon though. So clearly this is saving me money. And I don't have room. Some of them are on my floor. I just can't help myself, especially with the new ones (Yummy Yummy Yummy is amazing) and teh retro (Slammer just pwns at life and has always been my favourite). Mmmm, Lush. I actually need some shampoo. Dammit!
