We've had batshit thunderstorms all night. It was really fun at first because I love thunderstorms and we don't get enough of them but three hours later and I can't watch QI because there's no satellite signal and I don't want to plug the laptop in so I'm running it off the battery which gives me maybe three minutes of 'net time. If I'm lucky.

Okay weather, we get that you are awesome. Could you maybe let me have the TV back now?


ETA Oh and Nadal? IF YOU BITE ONE MORE FREAKING TROPHY, I WILL PERSONALLY PUT RAT POISON ON ALL OF THEM. For godssake. >:-/

I did initially write "AND YOU MAKE MY METAL-FILLED TEETH HURT" (I bit a piece of foil once and my mouth hurt for days, so I can't imagine doing it to a *metal trophy*) but then I remembered I was too annoyed at him to care about his teeth. Though he can probably afford his own personal dentist so maybe he doesn't care either.

In the beginning, I didn't care. At Wimbledon I cared a lot because there are things you just don't do to the Wimbledon trophy (says the person with half finished Wimbledon-trophy-based smut on her harddrive o_O) but now, it's just ridiculous. Get a new thing Nadal. Or maybe, you know. Actually try to be happy about the win, not about getting to show off your gimmick to the cameras again. I hope they start polishing all the trophies with wasabi.

It is just a gimmick now and it's become eye-rolling worthy instead of aaaww worthy. Okay, so my tolerance for Nadal's idiosyncrasies isn't exactly the highest in the world but... seriously. I wish he'd quit it now.

It was kinda cute the first couple times, but now it's like, dude, grow the fuck up! You're 22 years old!! I still can't believe he bit the Wimbledon trophy. I mean how disrespectful is that?! Stupid little prick. I'd rather they polish the trophies with poison of some sort. Then we'd get to watch him choke and die and then we wouldn't have to see him anymore.
