clo_againOh Derren, you delightful bastard. I would've loved to be a fly on the wall in the Tennant residence tonight when he discovered there really wasn't a pattern and that £500 each could've been £30,000 if they'd just looked up once. Also you just gave me David Tennant on a Space Hopper and David Tennant trying to hula-hoop and David Tennant brandishing an orange in each hand with an apple in his mouth, for which I will love you forever. You are an evil genius. And almost certainly a warlock because that trick with the card and the dart was just unnatural.
I do adore him. He probably has some psychologically tricksy reason about the human mind to explain it but regardless, I do. I'm sad that there is no more Trick or Treat now and that I missed out on his tour this year. He's been in Llandudno a couple of years back and I missed it then too, dammit. I need to see him live. Next tour, I'll have to be on the ball and stake out where I can get to. In the meantime I'll just buy the book of his artwork that's rumoured to be out sometime towards Christmas.
In other news than my ongoing obsession with Derren Brown: today I spent £20 on a small teddy bear dressed as a leopard. Like most things I do, it seemed a good idea at the time. He is undeniably adorable and he is a limited edition.
I'm so glad I don't have to go to work tomorrow. Almost-forty hours a week is really turning into a struggle, though it's nice having the money to spend on completely pointless things like £20 teddy bears.
