I've finished my work but I still have five minutes before I can realistically cash up (because you just know the moment you do is the moment someone comes in to pay for something) so I'm procrastinating. And I just turned down Chinese food on Friday because I'm broke, which is sad. No one should have to ever turn down Chinese food. It's far too delicious.

But I don't think I made as many silly mistakes today. This is good. However, I won't know for certain until tomorrow and I probably have. This is bad.

...Bored. If I get my Stephen Fry book out, they'll know I have nothing to do. At least typing looks office-y. But I really do have nothing to do. I'm coming to the conclusion that people in offices spend most of their time pretending they have something to do when they don't. If we could do all our work at once and go home, we'd all only have to work three hour days.

SO TRUE. I hate it. I wish I could do my work and go home because then I'd only have to work three days a week. I hate people not doing their work and them bitching about how much work they have to do. Really.

I've only temped briefly in offices before, so I've always been paranoid; must look like I'm doing something! all the time! This is the first time I've been anywhere for a while, where I can sit back and go "Nothing to do. ...Answer LJ comments for a while..."

I still think I'd prefer to spend that 75% at home though. One day someone will invent a way to do it.

How can anyone bitch about how much work they have to do? There's not enough work to fill the time with! I could spend the first two or so hours of every day on LJ and I'd still have too much time. When we rule the world, we'll consolidate so everyone only works three days. Except those people who don't work and then bitch. They can 'work' all five still.
