Still here. Just been too hot and sleepy today to catch up or generally be present on LJ. And this is an official notice that I'm going to bunk off the rest of the night (now it's finally cooling down. Whoever ordered this weather for September should be fired) to work on something shiny. Will get back to you on how that goes.

But other than that, this is mainly to say I GOT SHINY PRESENTS (of the unexpected nature and therefore the best) THIS MORNING. So when shiny is finished it'll be duly dedicated to [livejournal.com profile] kindoftrouble for being made of awesomeness. Thank you for the presents! Casper sniffed the gingerbead card and sneezed. It was very cute. ^___^

Shiny. Yes. The stack of job applications sitting on my desk can just sit there a little longer. ;)

(My Thoughts of That Match after shiny is done. It's all related anyway.)

It has taken me two weeks to send them to you but I'm glad you like them! I thought the coaster was perfect. ;) YAY SHINY! Is it the same shiny I think it is?

I love them! The coaster is by my keyboard and keeps making me giggle. I'm far too protective of my coffee. ^_^ It's the shiny we talked about yesterday (for which, after watching the match, I was up until 6:15am switching a couple of the songs and rearranging and is now definitely not getting rearranged again.) But I do have a long list of shiny I need to be working on, should be working on and will be. My prime directive for this autumn is "stop procrastinating."

What DID happen with the match? My sky messed up and did not tape it!

Andy played pretty damn fantastically to be honest (Roger didn't do anything awful, except winning and it's hard to blame him for that. ;) I've just sided with Andy in Andy/Roger matches since Wimbledon '04 and I see no reason to break the habit.) Even when he was losing, he didn't go all white and quiet or start missing easy shots. If he played that well against Roger for the rest of their careers, it wouldn't be a bad thing.

It's just that he came so close to winning a set, two. :) So near and yet...

(I did come up with an intricate plot to become a ballgirl the next time they play at Wimbledon and tie Roger's shoelaces together on the changeovers, but he'd probably hop around the court to hit amazing shots anyway. That or Andy would be laughing too much to play.)

Awwww poor Andy :) I do love Andy. But I'm the opposite! If I was a ballgirl at Wimbledon I'd be rubbish lol. I'd be staring at Roger so bad balls would randomly hit me and I wouldn't even notice!

Damn my sky box! I would have stayed up late but it was first day at college so...not good!
