It's RAINING. Yes, RAIN. Lovely lovely unhot rain. No more sun! We had a thunderstorm last night too, not a massive one but still pretty cool. I was standing outside my front door in the rain ^____^ Got absolutely soaked but I didn't care. RAIN! *is happy*
Got my provisional driver's licence today too. -_- Means my parents will be nagging me to start driving lessons. I don't really care, I'd rather go horse-riding. I've found a riding stables too and I've got a card for a half-price first lesson but my parents are more interested in dull driving lessons. -_- Neh.
RAIN!! Teehee!
We're going out today, not sure exactly where, Cheshire Oaks to Borders methinks and my brother's mumbling something about the aquarium. I was going to go with Jamie + everyone later in the summer but no harm in going twice. I haven't got any money to buy books though. *mourns* Actually I won't have any money to buy books for ages unless I get a job - at the end of this month I'm spending my pocket money on DVDs - either three DVDs or two DVDs and skin-tone coloured pencils. Which are really outrageously over-priced at £11:99 but eh.
Someone on Elfwood just said they'd never heard of Legolas. Is that possible? is it just me in my LotR crazed-obsessiveness that thinks it's impossible not to know who Legolas is? Yes, it probably is. But.... not knowing who *Legolas* is? Sheesh. And I thought I needed to get out more.
Okay, off to get ready to go out now, once the woman comes back from taking my grandparents shopping. I was planning on wearing a skirt but looking at the weather that = a bad idea.Hey, I haven't worn jeans for about a week and a half anyway.
Love, peace and jelly babies (RAIN!!!)

Date: 2003-07-17 04:00 am (UTC)Oooh have fun at Cheshire Oakes, I <3 that place, I had no idea that it was a Borders there, is that the huge book store near Frankie and Benny's (*drool*)?! I've walked past a few times and nobody ever wants to go in with me... 'books' they say 'meh'. Stupid souls. You should so go to the aquarium, I think it's called the 'Blue Planet Aquarium' I went a year or so ago, it burnt some time and it's better than staying at home, heh.
^_____^
...oh and no. It is NOT possible to not know who Legolas, what did they do, like watch the film with their friggin eyes closed? 0___o

Date: 2003-07-17 04:14 am (UTC)And yes, Borders is the huge book store by Frankie and Benny's and you *have* to go in. It's like the god of bookstores. I think once I spent over three hours there because you can pick up a book, go for a coffee in the Starbucks and *read* the book then go back for a different book. It's incredible - coffee+books! Plus the basically have everything, it's the next best thing to Amazon. I luff it. *huggles Borders*
So maybe I'll be able to go tomorrow, and to the Aquarium too. Pretty fishes! ^___^
Not knowing who Legolas is, honestly! Heathens. I'm sure there's an unwritten law about having to know who Legolas is. *nods*
