That's put me in a better mood after a five minute conversation with the 'rents reminded me of all the reasons why I don't want to go home tomorrow or ever, really. I'm genuinely contemplating what it'd be like if the Apocalypse happened before the end of term and we could all just stay in the blasted heath that would be Lancaster forever.

The internet connection would probably slow down some though. Details, details.

People should not write tennis articles entitled James May in Top Gear because it makes my fandoms all twisty. Can you tell I've been catching up on tennis news? Yeah. Speaking of which, Jonathan Ross is on in half an hour.

Totally don't want to go home tomorrow. Bah.

I know! It'd be like being paid to write crackfic. Which the tennis fandom totally needs more of. :)

I read it and went "..." because I was looking for tennis news and it confused me totally. Even if tennis/Top Gear would make for excellent crossovers. ^_^

I think being in the Top Gear fandom has converted me to the crackfic!love, because I never really got it before but they have everything from zombies to genderswapping to turning into animals. It's crazy. Tennis slashers should marvel and learn. ^_^ I haven't read tennis fic in ages but aw. :( Our poor fandom.

I did start writing Roger/Hamster. Several times actually; I never got the beginning right and it peetered out. I'd still like to do it sometime. *wistful* Heroes! It's totally amazing. But other than that... hmmm. Let me think about it. ;)

It got me through a boring second term this year by being completely batshit crazy. :) I joined topgearslash right in the middle of their genderswap challenge; I didn't know what was going on but it was hilarious. There is so much good 'Who fic, it's amazing. Crackfic has definitely grown on me in the last few months. You should! *pokes* -_- That kinda makes me glad I've stopped reading. I just *don't get* Rafa/Roger. Unless maybe it's the twisted bitter resentful kind, because then it's filled with wonderful angst, re. icon.

It was set at/around Wimbledon originally, so maybe I'll get inspired again this year (though no new Top Gear 'til autumn, so maybe not. :( ) I just thought it'd be very very pretty. Yeah, it's helped having all the episodes easily dlable from our student network. Except the last two which I can't find and I'm going crazy not knowing what happens. Heh, is that a surprise anymore? ;)

I can't say anything; I get easily distracted by anything lately. ^_^ I've fallen behind on 'Who fic but really should go catch up when I get back from Ireland because I'm sure there's a ton of good stuff I've missed. Yeah, bad crackfic is worse than simple badfic, which I think it why I used to avoid it but done well it's awesome. We have and it's still... I don't get it. Sigh. *facepalm* I know. We should be able to edit comments!

I *loved* that whole conversation. When fandoms collide... Hamster/Roger would be pretty and should be done. It's about the only thing that's easily dlable this year. Seems like everything else on there, like 'Who and Torchwood and Grey's Anatomy, *I* put on there. Well someone here's got hold of them so I think they have. :) They might not've over here yet though. Heh, to stop me forgetting? ^_^

*purrs more* Okay, I really have to go clean out the fish before they murder me in my sleep. Probably be around less until next Thursday but have a good weekend and hope you get the electricity fixed by the time I'm back. :( *hugs*
