clo_againIt's. Still. Buzzing. Though, it's louder now so it actually sounds more like a low, persistent drill up in the attic. Trying to report it but they instituted this dumb "online fault reporting" two years back and there's no category for "weird and irritating noises.' There isn't even an 'other' category. I could report it under heating, since that's what we think it is but then it could be something completely different (though doubtful, considering it stopped at half one last night which is when the heating turns off and started again this morning.)
MaybeI should just ring the porters and ask. But, I feel kinda stupid saying "there's a buzzing coming from the ceiling!" Even if it's enough to wake you up. Even if we were all in a house then we'd have a landlord to call over and fix it or at least investigate, right away. And if we lived in a non-student house, someone would've been called yesterday when the damn noise didn't shut up.
I can't take another day of this. I'm meant to be writing my dissertation for cryingout loud. We're in an official 'quiet period' on campus. But no, our building has to go and make drilling noises.
