I guess it makes people come up with more plots than just the 'first time' one (though I'll never get tired of that. ^_^) Plus it's easier to write the big, crazy fics when the couple is already half-there for you. (There's a little bit of stuff out there, though six episodes doesn't keep interest going for long. I have a few I liked in my memories.)
(Usually Roger is less stressful for me than Andy, because he wins easier. Woe for no Federbear! Everyone should have one for the cute. It was a horrible, stressful match. This year better not be that bad.)
