Dissertation is an excuse for *anything* with chocolate.

You wouldn't believe the cake we just made. Two large bars of chocolate, a pack and a half of butter, a whole box of icing sugar and both Creme Eggs (full size ones of course. Because we're not crazy at all) AND mini-eggs on top. Covered in chocolate fudge icing. Yeah. Cake of d00m.

We haven't tried it yet because it's Miko's welcome back present for tomorrow, but I'm predicting major sugar overdoses. Just eating the icing and buttercream filling was bad enough. If A sends me the picture tomorrow I'll psot it, because this cake really has to be seen to be believed.

And of course, it means I haven't done any reading all night. I should probably go fix that. But. Cake! :D

(Using this icon although it has no relevance, just because. I was watching it earlier and I haven't opened Photoshop for *two weeks*; it demanded to be done.)

Also.... you think your a good cake maker?! I have one word for thee! Amature! I'm sure Dee would agree with me. Come back when you've used a whole jar of jam as filling while working to a budget of £3.
I propose to you madamé the first ever annual CAKE OFF! To be held at a location of your choice and then re-located to somewhere else.
We'll work out rules such as budget, teams and maximum number of layers closer to the time. Untill then make no mistake, we're enemies!
