Postcards for everyone!

Checking my post every day for Wimbledon tickets (that I've given up on now. Hello camping), I was getting depressed about never having any interesting post. Which is when I realised how little interesting post *I've* sent in the last few months and that was even more depressing.

So while in town today I bought a stack of cards and postcards to send to whoever wants one. There's normal postcards and ones with envelopes and ones that fold over to hide the half with the writing, so if you're a tennis slasher and are worried any bits of slash I scribble might catch the eye of a 'rent/sibling/nosy postman or if you're not a slasher but just don't want the world to read it, ask for one of those. If you know I've already got your address -- ie. anyone who got Christmas cards this year -- just leave a comment saying you want a card and if not email me addresses at cloudymagicjh at hotmail.com (I swear on Roger's pretty hair that I'm totally not scary and have never axe murdered anyone or plan to).

Then at the end of next week, I'll post all the cards to everyone and won't feel bad about my utter lack of interesting-post sendage these last few months. You'd actually be doing me a favour, because I'm going to be doing lots of very boring reading this week and need distracting. And you'll be getting shiny and -- hopefully -- amusing post out of it.

So. Please give me something to distract myself with this week. ;_; Dissertation reading only = brain-meltage.

I've given up on Wimbledon tickets too. I've resigned myself to the fact I'll be camping out or getting up super early for ground passes. Hopefully I'll have a flat and we don't have to get up as early.

*sadness* We are unloved by Wimbledon. I'm up for camping out if you still want to. (I actually dreamed we were camping out last night but got there about noon the day before out of paranoia and all the stewards laughed at us. Sigh.)

*hugs* We are unloved by them. Though I understand if they don't want to give me tickets all the times I've been. At least we have each other. I'm definitely all for camping out so yay camping out! (LOL. That is so something we would do as well. I can just imagine it, especially as us at Wimbledon would be hilarious. I dreamed about cookies last night which was random.)

*hugs back* We are. They have no excuse with me though, since they didn't give me ballot tickets last year either. It's an Evil Plot. We do have each other and will overcome our sad lack of ticketness. ^_^ Yay, camping! (We really would and be total dorks about it. Though me and R got there at 7pm and there were still courts 1&2 left, so noon might be a bit excessive. ;) Us at Wimbledon will be hilarious. We can order takeaway to the tent and write queuing-tennis slash. Mmmm, cookies. Random but tasty.)

Mail is awesome fun and I never get any either. Hence, mass postcardage. :) As good as LJ is, it can never beat getting something in the morning post.

They really don't. Wimbledon should do what Queens do and put all the people they didn't manage to give tickets for into a ballot that gives them priority the next year so they're more likely to get tickets. Though, Wimbledon probably a lot more popular than Queens. It is definitely an Evil Plot and one that we will hopefully thwart one day. Camping, not my thing but Wimbledon and that totally makes up for it! (We so are going to be, but we have to get there early just in case people we love are playing in Centre Court and we need tickets for that. Mmmm. Take-out. I want pizza. And now I want to write Andy-camping-at-Wimbledon fic because babyAndy camping at Wimbledon is the cutest thing ever. Mmm. Yes. Tasty.)

Nope. *sadness at Wimbledon hating her* I didn't know they did that! It's really much more fair and they could totally set something up. One day we will rule the world and they'll have to give us front row seats every year. Or maybe I'll pretend to be a photographer, because they get the best view really. Camping for Wimbledon isn't normal!camping; it's camping surrounded by a bunch of awesome tennis fans, so it's okay. ^_^ (It's definitely worth being dorks for that. Plus, it's more fun when there's a group of you and we can chat and play cards or whatever while we wait. We had pizza when we went, because we thought it was the easiest to eat without knives or forks or plates. *giggles* We were so disorganized. You should write thhhaaaaaatt. *bribes with cookies* Because baby!Andy and camping and *cutest thing ever*. *offers more cookies*)

Post really is better than anything and especially postcards that have pretty pictures on. ^_^
