clo_againI thought I'd run out of books that were good enough to keep me glued to the page for hours on end. Then Eirual recommened Lynn Flewelling to me and I found 'The Bone Doll's Twin' in Waterstones the other day. I sat down this morning to read a few pages and only looked at my watch three hours later to realise I was halfway through the book and hadn't had any lunch. Now I'm about two chapters from the end and I've had to tear myself away to find out when the sequel comes out. July 7th. FOUR WHOLE DAMNED WEEKS! *passes out* So I'm gonna buy the Nightrunner trilogy to keep me going - if I can afford them. *mumbles dire things about not enough money*
I have to retake my key skills IT exam. *grumbles* Got a letter in the post this morning telling me I have to retake it on the 18th June. there are people out there who have probably been on a computer twice in their life who'll pass - and I'm stuck retaking it despite the fact I spend 50% of my time on my computer. Stupidheads. Can they actually make an exam not asking pointless questions - for example "What equation does a spreadsheet use to work out --insert random thing here--?" I don't know - THE SPREADSHEET DOES IT FOR YOU, YOU MORONS! Sorry. brief rant of hatred against spreadsheets. *grumbles* So I'll have to do that and miss Classics, which I actually like. I'm seriously considering just not going. Or simply turning up, ticking random boxes and leaving after ten minutes. I really don't give a shit anymore. Bastards.

I was practising Cletic knotwork in the brief break I took earlier from reading. never practise Celtic knotwork - it's painful. Plus damned hard to get straight. I think I need to work on it more.
I'm off to finish my book and order the other ones from amazon. I love that website - I honestly would wither up and die from lack of books without it.
