I hate my dissertation. I hate that the entire world seems to have done it before me. I hate that I've spent all day in my room doing nothing. I hate that I've just spent two hours I should've spent doing my creative writing for tomorrow watching Return of the King only for Liv Tyler to waltz across the screen and RUIN MY ORIGINAL OTP.

... Someone rec me good Aragorn/Legolas. Please?

edit: Also, WHERE IS EVERYONE? Seriously, it doesn't happen that my flist is this quiet. Did I miss the memo about a mass exodus somewhere with no internet?

As for the fic... well Library of Moira is often a good bet. But I've also discovered recently that a large amount of LOTR and LOTR RPS pages are no longer in existance. *mourns the loss of Closer than Brothers*

Fic. >_< I need to work on fic. I need to be *made* to work on fic. One day all the Inmates need to live close enough together so when my muses go AWOL you can come over and tie me to the computer chair with Word open until they come back. Even housework sounds better than fic right now. (Thoguh, tell Tristan I say hi. ^_^)

I'd forgotten all these sites, which tells me that I've been away from LotR for far too long. o_O I just got all nostalgic when I recognised the picture of Legolas on LoM's banner. They can't not exist! I never saved any of the fics. Ack. They need to make The Hobbit to rekindle everyone's interest.

...Which one was closer than Brothers? I remember one with Aragorn/Boromir one with beautiful fanart for the banner. So much fic, gone. *mourns with you*

How's this for fic inducement? I'm nearly done with my Robin/Will tree!sex. You're not getting it till I get a promise of waterfall!sex. There's probably a few more fics on the way and you won't get those till I get my waterfall!sex. Lilly will, but you won't.

Closer than Brothers was a HUGE RPS slash archive. If you could concieve the pairing, it was there. God, that place was good.

*sulks under the desk for a while* :p (by the way, if you get the chance or if I manage to get hold of more episodes, you should check out the newest Robin Hood series they're showing over here. I want to know whether the Robin/Much pairing is as canon as I think it is. Plus the guy playing Robin is kinda cute AND the guy playing Will is cute, in a vaguely jail-baity way.)

Is that Robin of Sherwood? Cause I was having a look on bitorrent last week for it. Was seriously considering it, but had to take into account the fact that we had another 3 weeks left and I'd already used over half the download limit.

Oh that's nothing. He already tries to grab the remote off me. He's got a scary knack for Texas Hold Em Poker. (Lee says 'Should Daddy go all in?" Tristan giggles, Lee bets hard and wins.) And he's a flirt! It's
disgraceful.

No, it's a new one they've got to fill the Saturday night gap between Doctor Who series. Slightly -- okay, often very -- daft but it's good fun and has some nice eye-candy. Though, I should be able to download RoS and snail mail a DVD of it to you if you want? I've got links to the first two series at least and I've heard it's good, though I haven't got round to watching it yet. What else is fast uni 'net for if not to share the downloadable goodness? ^_^

Me too. I just assumed the stuff I didn't quite like enough to save would always be there. The downside to the Internet. -_- Add it to the list of things to fix when we rule the world; back issues of web pages.
