clo_againThe Independent? Yeah, I liked it. I thought it was a nice, calm, rational paper.
Until I bought a copy to read over lunch today and found the dumbest, rantiest, most mindlessly vitriolic attack on Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear that could possibly be written. Implying that the man personally goes out and gleefully runs down small children in his spare time? Makes you look like a complete and utter twat on their high horse Mister -- or is it Miss? To be honest, you could be either judging from your picture which is perhaps why you're so bitter and twisted -- Johann Hari. Thank you for sharing your closed-minded, fun-hating, bitter view of the world so I can share my response in return. To quote a famous movie, frankly my dear, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN.
Asshats. Giving us pictures to stick to our dartboards since the first newspaper was written.
Aside from my abrupt lack of a favourite newspaper, CARDIFF. There are no words for the sheer awesomeness that is Cardiff. Spent way too long getting lost in all the little arcades but they have the absolute coolest shops ever invented. And everyone's so relaxed and Welsh accents everywhere and Forbidden Planet had a sale on t-shirts so I bought a Nightmare Before Christmas one. Also found some dissertation books in the quaintest of second hand bookshops. If I ever get rich, I'm *definitely* buying a flat in Cardiff Bay. I can look out the windows and giggle at them filming Doctor Who. ;-)
So, happy. Anything that can make me happy after spending almost six hours on a train in one day must be good. Yayness.
edit: The two boxes of Oreos might have something to do with the happy too. They should keep me going for oh, at least two weeks. ^_^
