Argh. Rudeness.

clo_againUncle and his incredibly rude wife are visiting with their dog Onion. (I know. I bit my tongue.) Now it's a well known fact my mother isn't the greatest dog fan. She doesn't even let Casper on the sofas because she hates the hair. So when Incredibly Rude Wife encourages Onion up to sit, not even on her knee but on the actual sofa between them, well.
And then, knowing we had a cat somewhere in the house and for all she knew sitting right outside the lounge door, to say "Cat! Where's the cat Onion?!" I love dogs and Onion's adorable but I swear, if she chased Casper, *my* cat, in *my* house? Her paws would not touch the ground as I threw her out the door. With the woman I wouldn't call auntie if you paid me in solid gold coins right behind her.
I had to leave the room before I was inexcusably rude. This woman is a barnacle on the face of the planet. Getting eaten by piranhas would be too good for her.
edit: Um. Sorry about the rant. I was a little bit annoyed.

I seriously hate people who don't respect other people's property. I have a friend who puts her feet up on the coffee table at my house, and the dashboard in my car. I mean, WTF? *fumes* And there is so many slappable offences in what you just told us.... stpid woman!
Feel free to rant any time - better to rant to us than get arrested for strangling her!

Date: 2006-09-16 07:23 pm (UTC)Exactly! It's a matter of respect. It's not what you do in your home, it's realising that other people might not like it being done in *theirs*. This woman is rude beyond belief and it's clear now that the only reason she came to visit was to cause trouble. Argh.
Very true. *sighs* Though I think next time we just won't let her in. Save dealing with the trouble.
