You know, a few years back I had a *major* craze on Pokemon. I could probably have recited all 150 Pokemon names in order. Of course Lucy started it *points at Lucy* and we must have spent a fortune on cards and such. Then the continual moaning of my family at being forced to watch *cartoons* started to get to me, the makers brought out entire new Pokemon and learning just what the hell was going on became too much effort and I lost interest. For the last few years I've been sniggering at all the Pokemon movies, adverts and other merchandise, conveniently forgetting my own Pokemon craze, which incidently lasted quite a while if I recall correctly. Now, I was idly watching Star Trek and in the adverts started flicking (I know, I yell at my dad for doing this but he wasn't here so he coudn't complain) and came across the third Pokemon movie. I didn't even know they'd *made* a third Pokemon movie (I'd seen the first one in the cinema; yes, laugh, the cinema guy did too when we asked for tickets) so I watched it. The Entei was kinda cute so I kept watching. And watching. And even managed to catch some of the plot since I'd turned it on nearly at the end.

And the dreadful conclusion I've come to is that I don't know hardly any of what's going on anymore - and I don't like it.

So I'm looking up the new Pokemon. I'm wondering why Charizard (always my favourite) flew away at the end. And I'm even wondering when Sky will be showing the episodes.

I can't start this again. No. I can't. It's bad enough convincing my family to watch *wrestling* never mind Pokemon - my dad hates cartoons to the extent he wouldn't even watch Shrek for a while because it wasn't live-action. It must be a short-lived renewal of my crze. Must be. It is right?

I wonder if my brother still has Pokemon Stadium for the N64.......

Edit: Well that craze lasted *just* long enough for me to discover there is pretty much no good fanfic for Pokemon. Or if there is, I can't find it. Hah. That's the end of that then.
