clo_againAnd there goes the first World Cup advert. Let my irritation of the next few months be noted as having begun.
Let it also be noted that I am Welsh and therefore have no obligation to support England since the Welsh are, quite sensibly, much better at rugby. England is as much up for being snarked at as anyone. More probably, given that I've had twenty years of football marginalising every other sport in this country and quite frankly I'm hardly the only Brit who thinks David Beckham's left foot IS. NOT. NEWS.
Having got that out the way, I just saw David Tennant at the BAFTAs and finally got a look at the Infamous Beard. It's not quite as impressive as the one![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hill2k had over Easter but it also doesn't make him look quite so shifty so it probably balances out. ;-) And hey, Top Gear's nominated for something and they used a mocking!Hamster clip for it. Hee. Aw, didn't win though. Not that I think anyone from Top Gear is actually there, so it's not like we've missed out on a Hamster speech.
The football is interrupting Top Gear for six weeks too. Oh, how my hatred grows.
edit: Aw, David Tennant presenting the award to Russell T. Davis. So cute. And also, amusing that the short montage they showed could've equally been for David Tennant getting an award, he was in it so much. *amused*
